Carolina and Kure Beach Renourishment
**Renourishment project completed June 12th 2022 and is open for all to enjoy**
Carolina and Kure Beach currently have beach renourishment projects in progress. This project is mainly in operation at night and can be disruptive on certain parts of the beach. As of now, the work is anticipated to be done by the end of April; however, bad weather and other unexpected incidents could delay the project. **UPDATE: PROJECT HAS BEEN EXTENDED THROUGH JUNE 12TH.** Below is a tracker that shows the areas affected and progress that has been made:
