**Renourishment projected schedule Nov 16th, 2025 – April 30th, 2026**

Carolina and Kure Beach renourishment projects are set to begin November 16th, 2025.  These projects are important because it replenishes sand to restore and maintain a wider, higher beach, which is crucial for protecting coastal properties from storms, preserving habitats for wildlife, and providing recreational areas  This project could be disruptive on certain parts of the beach depending on the time of day and the location of your stay.  As of now, the work is anticipated to be done by the end of April 2026; however, weather and other unexpected incidents could delay the project.  Below is a tracker that shows the areas affected and progress that has been made:
