Description

"Surf's Edge" is the perfect place for you if you are looking for a classic old style beach cottage. This property features 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, where each bedroom has two Full beds. The living room, dining area, and kitchen have an open floor plan that allow the family to be together while you are making that favorite meal. Each bedroom features two Full beds and the full bathroom is shared.

"Surf's Edge" has a unique charm with the original knotty pine walls and cozy furnishings. There is a large oceanfront deck that leads to the private beach access that hosts an outside shower to wash the salt and sand away. The laundry room with a washer and dryer are located in the storage room under the main living area in the carport.

While visiting Carolina Beach during the summer, make sure to visit the Boardwalk, it has fun for all ages, or take in a movie at the lake on Sunday evenings and no one should go home without trying Britt's Donuts, it's located on the Boardwalk. The NC Aquarium at nearby Kure Beach is open all year, the kids especially enjoy the touching pond.

Great place, very clean, perfect location. The description of amenities were not accurate. It said there are dishes, there were only 4 small bowls. There was no toaster as described. As far as the grill, it was a community charcoal grill. We brought meat with us to grill and was never able to use the grill because there was only one and was always in use. The description also said there were no dogs allowed, we saw 3 different families bring dogs into their units.

We will have our hospitality team look into the dishware/ toaster as all of our properties are stocked for guests to be able to prepare and eat a meal for the number of occupants permitted at the unit. We apologize that you were never able to utilize the grill however our website does specify that there is a community grilling area. Each individual condo owner chooses whether they would like their unit to be pet friendly or not. The Riggings Complex in general does not allow renters to bring pets, only owners, so you were most likely seeing owners of the units bringing their own pets.

This was a nicely remodeled and very light and airy unit. Mattresses were good! We had issues eating meals with no table inside or outside on porch this was a hassle. The kitchen was also not very equipped. Furniture was comfortable and loved the swing chair on porch!!!

We will make the suggestion to the owner to add a table on the deck as the bar off of the kitchen is the only true dining space. We will have our hospitality team check the standard items in the kitchen and replenish if any items have gone missing throughout the summer. Please note that we do have staff available 24/7 to assist with any issues that may arise during your stay. Our staff would have been happy to bring out any standard items that were missing. We are glad you enjoyed your stay!

Perfect little place for my husband and me to relax and unwind. The condo was clean and ready for us to enjoy. Literally steps away from the beach. We enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs out on the back deck while sipping coffee and listening to the waves. Our only issue was another car parked in our condo’s spot most of our time there so we parked in the extra lot across the street. Everything else was very enjoyable and we would highly recommend anyone looking for a cozy place for a vacation to consider staying here!

Parking can be an issue at this complex, but with the assigned spaces it is usually easy to access the units despite the narrow openings. To be honest, we weren't initially impressed. We had stayed previously at Ocean Dunes which is newer and more outwardly attractive. This complex is older and a bit worn. The entrance storm door was ill-fitting and rusty, with no lock. The balcony had no furniture besides a swinging chair. Balcony doors needed bars to lock them and had no screens. Dining area was a counter with high-top chairs, no table or regular chairs. And both televisions came without instructions so we did not know how to operate them to get regualr channels. And the exterminator was scheduled while we were there which we were not happy about. BUT... the Bryant staff was excellent and attentive to our concerns. They arranged to have chairs delivered to the balcony. Jason came to teach us how to use the tv's. Every phone call was received with politeness and attention. In the end, we were happy with our unit. You certainly can't beat the view, and we loved that this is the last complex on the island with only the fort grounds and then the ferry terminal to the south. I will warn that the cell service is very spotty here. This is not the owner's fault but you can't always count on service. The Internet, however, was excellent, strong and consistent signal. Plenty of kitchen supplies (but don't forget to bring laundry detergent). And once we learned to use the tv's, there were plenty of choices of things to watch. Unit was clean and ready when we arrived.
