Description

This beautifully remodeled one bedroom unit has everything you could ask for to make your vacation a comfortable stay. Fully equipped state of the art kitchen has everything you need to make a wonderful dinner or just some beachy drinks to enjoy from your third floor private deck. You can soak up the sun on your deck or enjoy the large private pool and beach access. Beautiful lawn area for game playing and cook outs. Unit is equipped with Wi-Fi, cable and DVR your convenience.
Pleasure Island offers many attractions both natural and commercial. There is a variety of dining from casual to more upscale menus with fresh seafood specials daily. Our charter boats located at the harbor in the heart of Carolina Beach offer charter fishing both (in-shore and deep-sea). The North Carolina Aquarium and Fort Fisher History Museum are just down the road at the south end of the island. The aquarium is a great family experience and has different exhibits and events on a regular basis. From the aquarium you can also access tidal marsh trails and enjoy all of the native wildlife and flora. Take a step back in time and tour the Ft. Fisher history museum and learn about the area’s history during the civil war. Over the winter there is even a live reenactment of the last battle at the fort. In the same area you will find the Ft. Fisher to Southport ferry. It is really fun to take a ride on the ferry for a day trip to historic Southport for some antiquing and lunch on the river. If you enjoy surf fishing you can access the south end of Ft. Fisher from the Ft. Fisher Recreation area by 4 wheel drives or on foot. There is also 4 wheel drive access on the north end of Carolina Beach at Freeman Park. The Carolina Beach State Park located on the west side of the island offers miles of beautiful natural hiking trails, kayaking and fishing. You can even rent a pontoon boat and spend a day on the water visiting islands and marshes. During summer season there are rides at the Carolina Beach boardwalk for the kids as well as Thursday night fireworks with live entertainment. Family night is Tuesday with special entertainment for the kids. At the Carolina Beach Lake (which is the closest fresh water lake to the ocean on the eastern seaboard) there is a free outdoor family movie on Sunday evening and an awesome Farmer s Market on Saturday mornings. Come for the holidays and enjoy the Island Of Lights! The lake and the boardwalk are decorated with lights and Christmas surprises with all kinds of entertainment for the kids. There is so much fun on Pleasure Island all year round. Come see us soon!

Sol Mate is on the oceanfront with an awesome view. The condo was clean & updated with granite countertops & stainless steel appliances. Kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals but would recommend bringing skillets & paper products along with dishwasher detergent & laundry supplies for washer & dryer in the unit.

We had a great time here!! Everything was as expected. Really enjoyed the deck, view of the beach, and convenience to the tiki bar. Highly recommend visiting Carolina Beach State Park and Fort Fisher. Would 100% recommend a stay at Sol Mate.

The condo review said parking under building, which wasn't true. Parking underneath building was major reason I picked this condo. Lot of noise in the early mornings people moving out or in. it was still dark outside.

We suggest you always call to verify any major concerns or features you want in a home and speak with us directly. We had a beautiful week at the Carolina Beach. Weather couldn’t get much better! Condo was clean and comfortable. Only negative was the utensil drawers could’ve had a few more to choose from. And only plastic spatulas don’t work to well In the oven. The last night we found out the dryer didn’t work after doing a load of laundry. Had to dry everything on the deck. But mgmt sis come to check it out but too late to have fixed. Would definitely stay there again though!! Just thought I’d help with some pointers for future inhabiters.

We had a great time while we were renting this apartment through Bryant Realty. The checkin/out process was seamless and the apartment was fantastic. An amazing location and views. the apartment was as described and clean and everything worked as it should. We would definitely stay here again.

This condo is very cute and you cannot beat the view. It was clean and well decorated. And the rental company was great. We rented this space for 3 reasons. 1: ocean (Which it had a great view. It was like we were sitting on the beach still) 2: kitchen (our son has allergies so we have to cook but there were key items missing in the kitchen. No big frying pans. No chopping knife. There was only 2 knives period. And all of the smaller pans where so worn that it was difficult to cook in them. We had to cook in a big pot that was semi worn.and no big cutting board.)
3: sleep (the beds were so uncomfortable. The kid was ok because he can sleep anywhere but the adults got no sleep the whole time because the bed killed our bodies.) hopefully they fix these areas for future renters.

Rented a condo at Sea Colony. Nicely decorated, clean, rooms facing the beach with fabulous views. Kitchen had basic necessities for cooking (minus condiments) and things worked and were also clean. Bedroom bed was comfy and queen size, couch in living room folded out into a bed and was OK for sleeping, especially when the sliding door was open with the screen closed and the ocean lulled me to sleep. Quiet. This was in October so there weren’t a lot of people around. Was easy to get and return keys. Would definitely recommend.
