Description

Many guests return to “Parsley” year after year for a Wrightsville Beach vacation – the traditional way. This historic, sound front cottage is sure to please! Enjoy fantastic sound views and sunsets from the wonderful wraparound porch with comfy rocking chairs. Just across the street kids will enjoy playing in the gentle sound waters and a new garden by the shore makes it a pleasant retreat. The beach access is on the South Lumina side, just a short walk across the street. Take a short stroll to the Blockade Runner Hotel and dine in its award-winning restaurant.

The cottage is truly charming! The main level features a small, but workable kitchen, living/dining area, 1 bedroom, and outside bath on the front porch. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. This property now has central air conditioning and heat on both levels and ceiling fans throughout. Parsley Cottage is unavailable between December and April every year. Don’t miss the opportunity to have a vintage Wrightsville Beach experience in this lovely cottage.

Off-street parking for 2-3 cars. Occupancy: 8. No Smoking. Pet allowed with nonrefundable pet fee of $200 per pet. Linens provided.

Bryant Real Estate, established in 1952, is a professionally operated firm that is licensed in North Carolina and hired by the property owner to manage “W323 – Parsley” as a vacation rental.

My friends and I rent the Parsley house for a week every year and it's the perfect place to spend a beach week. The house is comfortable and has everything we need. We love the fact that it's a classic Wrightsville Beach beach cottage and is well suited for a leisurely stay. The beach on the sound side is perfect for hanging out and for keeping our boat moored. We'll keep renting this cottage every year for sure!

The Parsley was perfect for our family and pup. Easy access to the ocean! Great location and easy access to some great restaurants in town. We especially loved sunsets on the private beach on the causeway. So convenient! The house has a vintage cottage vibe that we all enjoyed. Cool and comfy! We hope to return next summer!

Very beachy, old school home. Well appointed in terms of dishes, cups, etc.; I was worried that the outdoor shower would be an issue, but it ended up being fine. The porch is amazing! If you are ok spending most of your time outdoors and don’t want to be inside at all (which is the intent at the beach!), you will enjoy this home.. it was a bit stuffy downstairs with no AC in July.

Property exactly as described. The location is tops - close to everything. The biggest pleasant surprise is the private beach area. We wound up spending more time there than we did at the ocean. The pictures do not do it justice.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay the old fashioned way in Parsley Cottage. It was exactly the vacation we needed. The cottage is in a great location on the waterway within close proximity to the public beach access and so one can walk to the shops and restaurants. We loved the vintage feel including the porch bathroom off the porch. I hope everything at Parsley stays exactly as it is!

This cottage has the feel of a real old fashioned Wrightsville Beach cottage—and so few remain. The location is convenient. It does not have some of the modern conveniences but the rustic flavor is just right for us.

This is our 4th year renting the Parsley cottage and we've already signed up for next year! It's a great place to enjoy the beach with friends. The house itself is comfortable and casual and the wraparound porch is ideal for hanging out and enjoying the sound views. I love that it's so close to everything and you can walk to the beach or to the shops and restaurants.

We loved the charm of the Parsley Cottage. Very comfortable until the heat index reached 107•. Bedrooms were comfortable though. I loved the porch. If I were to add anything it would be a table and chairs on the porch so you could eat out there and enjoy the view. The children loved spotting rabbits in the bushes! All appliances wereed well. The kitchen is well equipped.

Great home, loved it for our guys paddling/surf trip to Wilmington. Laying on the porch was amazing. Very historic and charming home with prime location.
It could be a bit more clean (dust bunnies under the beds, etc). But superficially it was fine. Trip was in April so temps were perfect. Not sure how this house would be come July and August with just window units.
I probably would not take a family trip with grandparents or babies here. But perfect for us. No cable or internet even thought it was to be provided. We were not offered compensation for lost amenities. That was a bit disappointing - more of a Bryant Real Estate issue over the actual home. But it's nice to see these old historic homes with a story around the island, and not just new construction mansions.

Cottage is vintage, old school WB! Wrap around porch is the main draw! Sleeping perfectly comfortable with bedroom AC units. Overall as advertised! Two suggestions - 1 - we didn't use the oven once but there was a constant smell of gas in the kitchen and into hallway. That's a concern that should be addressed in the name of safety. 2 - owner doesn't want bikes on the porch but it rained every night and leaving them outside not the solution. No other roofed area to store them and everybody wants a beach cruiser at the beach.

Our vacation to Wrightsville Beach and staying at Parsley Cottage was wonderful! The location was fantastic! We had our own beach access on the waterway and across the street from the ocean. The house was very clean. The wraparound porch was amazing to sit out on in the evenings! The Bryant Realty staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful! I would highly recommend this cottage to everyone!

This was a great experience, Bryant Realty did an outstanding job. I have already booked the cottage for next year.

Only 2 issues....the cable tv service is pretty limited, in fact, very limited. And the wifi service is AWFUL.

But otherwise, the cottage is great, and you simply can't beat the location.
