Description

Come enjoy "Bosley" - a great 2 bedroom, 2 bath, oceanfront condo at the William & Mary complex in Carolina Beach. The living room and kitchen are oceanfront, while both bedrooms are street side. The spacious first bedroom boosts a Queen bed, street side deck, private bathroom with double sinks and flat screen TV. The second bedroom is perfect for the kids with a bunk bed boasting a Twin bed over a Full bed, flat screen TV and an attached full bathroom. There is a also a sleeper sofa in the living room.

Indoors you'll find everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Sit outside and enjoy the ocean breezes and views on the oceanfront deck, a great spot for outdoor dining and sunbathing. A private walkway to the beach and an outside shower are located at the rear of the building.

Enjoy oceanfront views on the popular north end of Carolina Beach, NC at the William and Mary condo complex. Each William and Mary unit offers two bedrooms and is in close proximity to the restaurants, bars, shops, and Carolina Beach Boardwalk. This complex is conveniently located between the beach and the canal, where you will find calm waters and kayak access. Enjoy the complex’s private beach access and spend the day on the sand. The Carolina Beach Pier is only blocks to the north, where you can spend the afternoon fishing in the beautiful Atlantic Ocean! In the evening, head down to the Boardwalk for live music, fireworks, and fantastic dining.

Carolina Beach is located on the southern tip of North Carolina, on picturesque Pleasure Island. This family-friendly beach is perfect for surfing, fishing and collecting seashells.

"Bosley" is located just seven blocks north of the Boardwalk area in downtown Carolina Beach. You are within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the summer activities such as fireworks, carnival rides and live music. This condo was the perfect place, exactly what I was looking for.....Oceanfront, great view of the ocean. Conveniently located for walking to restaurants, boardwalk etc.
I was surprised to see that the place was nor clean. Master shower was dirty, there was a used bar of soap in the shower and a wad of hair in the drain. The kitchen sink was very dirty and there was a dead roach in the pots/pans drawer.
Also, the entrance light fixture did not work. I feel that someone needs to check those units before renting them. Price for the stay is not cheap and I am sure cleaning fees are paid by the guests....

The good:
furniture is comfy

the bad:
master bad floor needs to be redone, very squeaky.
bunk bed button mattress needs replacing.
deck carpet of master bedroom balcony needs replacing (very nasty)

The space was comfortable, the location is perfect. You just can't beat that view. Kitchen supplies are a little worn but perfectly functional. We had a little trouble with the lock when getting in, but Bryant was extremely quick to respond -- turns out you need to press the # button before putting in the passcode. Highly, highly recommended.

We love the location of the condo and the beach is gorgeous and just a short stroll across the semi-private boardwalk. This particular unit is nicely furnished, clean, in good shape. We LOVED the radio speakers in each room. The keyless entry stopped working (after hours) while we were there but the agency handled it promptly. I do have 2 complaints and the only reason I'm mentioning this here is that I emailed the rental agency and my email was ignored., which I feel is unprofessional. The kitchen is very sparsely stocked - it's missing a few basic necessities like a liquid measuring cup, a slotted spoon, a chef's knife, and there is not much silverware. We didn't do much cooking and I know this seems petty, but these are just basic items that every kitchen needs. I mention it only so the owners can restock. You can definitely "make it work" if you don't plan to cook much. But the most disturbing event was when I removed the sheets from the bunk beds (upon our departure), a GIANT cockroach crawled out from the mattress. The thought of that there in my childrens' beds was unnerving. And once home, I unpacked all of our bags outside in case any had crawled into our suitcases. It's just something that the rental agency needs to be aware of so the unit can be resprayed. Note: We did not see any bugs at any other time.

Thanks for the review! The kitchens will run low on items sometimes, if you would just contact our office and we will gladly make sure you get items needed. The Palmetto bugs are native to the ocean areas, the homeowner's association does have all units set up on monthly spray but we can always have an additional spray done if needed. Rental was exactly as described, it was clean and well kept. Just steps from the beach. The beach was well kept and family oriented! Bryant Real Estate was fantastic. Their communication and timely responses were top notch. I will recommend their company and this rental to everyone!

This is the second time that we have rented this unit for our family vacation.

Loved everything about this condo. Plan to stay next year for a full week! Nice size-clean and very close to the ocean. Loved sitting on balcony at night listening/watching the ocean. Added bonus is a built in radio with speakers in every room. My husband fell in love with that feature.

The stay was awesome as well as the location.I was a little nervous with all the rules about cleaning and checking out procedures and the costs for laundry, but we enjoyed it all.

I'm sorry that you were stressed, because we really do not ask for much from our guests regarding check-outs and laundry. All we ask is that you remove everything you brought in, wash and put away any dishes that you used, and take out your trash. We do not charge the guests for the cleaning, and we provide linens on stays five nights or longer. I am glad you had a great stay, and hope we relieved any tension you felt regarding our policies. Unfortunately we did not have a chance to fully experience the accommodations or the location as we were evacuated ahead of Florence. I would have preferred to delay our departure a few hours and take advantage of the fabulous weather and beautiful Carolina Beach. Maybe next time...

Awesome! Once again, this condo was great! This time my whole family was there for one of the weeks and they all had a blast. Bryant's service is extraordinary as well! We had a problem with the air conditioning unit and they fixed it within a few hours. What great service! Thanks again for all your help. The only little thing that was a negative, was that the cleaning crew didn't do a great job.

We had a pleasant stay. The property is older but well maintained with good furnishings. Also, it was the best-equipped kitchen we have ever experienced in a vacation rental. It was quiet and peaceful with amazing beach access. The three TVs actually were connected to cable and the wifi worked as well.

We thorougly enjoyed our vacation at this condo. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We absolutely loved the oceanfront view, and were thankful for the wooden walkway that led our path to the beach every day. The only (small) con I can think of is there is no grill available. This turned out to not be a big deal at all - we packed ours in our trailor and brought it with us and ended up not even using it. After having walked up and down the beach in both directions, I realized that we had picked an ideal spot to rent. When the tide was in, we still had plenty of beach area (unlike the houses/condos further down the beach closer to the pier). I would definitely want to rent this condo again for future vacations at Carolina Beach!

Lovely condo; appeared exactly as the pictures depicted. Excellent view and easy beach access. We walked to the boardwalk and to the sunset boat road. We were even able to see dolphins a couple times. Would rent this condo again!

My husband, myself, and our four children stayed here for a weekend. The bedroom furniture is just as outdated as it looks in the photos, however the mattresses appear to be new and are comfortable if you like firm mattresses. The kitchen is also outdated but has new appliances. Basically, what you see in the photos is exactly what you are getting. Overall the condo was clean, spacious enough for our family of six, and the people at the rental company were very friendly. To use the hose outside to rinse off you need to reach up and turn the water on with a valve, something other visitors seemed to be unaware of. Technically this condo is in walking distance of the boardwalk and many shops and restaurants, however there is no sidewalk most of the way. The parking here is the same ridiculously complicated set up as probably 99% of the other beach houses in the area. I'd recommend just parking across the street in the lot instead of under the house. Overall this was a decent value for the price and we would return again if coming back to Carolina Beach.

We had a wonderful condo with a fantastic view. Our keys to the condo were tricky from the start (jiggle a little to get it to work). On Wednesday afternoon both of our keys would not go in the lock, they would only go in halfway and we were nearly locked out. It took us about 30 minutes to get in. I called the office about 4:30 and told them what happened and let them know we didn't feel comfortable locking the door. I was told that no one could come out to the condo that day but we could drive to the office and pick up a spare set of keys. I told them that since I was on the beach at the time I wouldn't be able to come to the office. Spare keys probably would not have fixed problem seeing as both of our keys would not go into the lock. They said that a maintenance worker would come the next day (Thursday) and put WD-40 in the lock and give us a spare set of keys. No one came by on Thursday or called. I assumed they got busy and would come on Friday. Again, no one came and no one called. I was disappointed that no one came and also disappointed that I was asked to come out to the office to pick up spare keys. Good customer service would say "We do not want to interrupt your special vacation, we will come to you." (Even though I believe spare keys would NOT have fixed the problem, the problem was in the lock).
