As you enter “Beach Bum Bungalow” you are welcomed into the mudroom which offers a fantastic place to kick off your sandals and hang up your beach bag. The open floor plan helps families stay connected whether they are relaxing in the living room, eating a meal at the kitchen table, or hard at work preparing the family’s favorite meal in the kitchen. Whether you decide to explore the local cuisine or cook from home, this kitchen has everything you need to take in all the flavors. The kitchen is functional and well equipped for preparing meals but there is not a dishwasher included among the appliances provided. There is a full bathroom located in the hallway that serves the two bedrooms and visitors.

The first bedroom is furnished with a queen bed and features a sliding glass door that leads to the back deck. Slip outside and sip your morning coffee in the soft ocean breeze or spend evenings grilling out with a sunset view. The second bedroom offers a queen-size bed and makes great accommodation for your guests or younger family members. A spacious bathroom separates the bedrooms and doubles as a laundry room. With plenty of storage space this beautifully updated bathroom gives a spa-like feel to the home.

Just off the back deck is a communal grill, picnic table, and outdoor shower that are shared between the upper and lower unit. For larger family gatherings, rent the Upper Unit "C306 Surfside Retreat", for a total of 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, dining and living areas! While vacationing in Carolina Beach, be sure to check out the Boardwalk area, where you will find shops, restaurants, and summer activities such as fireworks, carnival rides and live music. Watch the fishermen come in with the catch of the day at the marina or dine out with the family. Travel just a few miles south to the Historic Fort Fisher Museum that is nestled in the maritime forest, the Civil War battleground, and the NC Aquarium.
