Description

Are you looking for a charming Wrightsville Beach rental that is just slightly off the beaten path? “Sullivan” is just the house you have been looking for! This charming townhouse features views of the Intracoastal Waterway, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and is located on a quiet dead-end street. There is public beach access, and Crystal Pier is less than a block away. Come experience tranquility without sacrificing a superb location or convenience.

As you enter “Sullivan” you are greeted by beautiful hardwood floors and the welcoming open floor plan. This open great room allows families to stay connected whether dining, lounging on the sofa, or preparing snacks to bring down to the beach. The front covered porch off the living room offers an outdoor dining set. Enjoy dinner soaking in the salt air as the sun sets over the waterway. There is a guest bedroom on the main living level that is furnished with a cozy queen-sized bed. This guest bedroom opens to a covered balcony – a wonderful hidden oasis to sneak away to with your favorite book. A full bathroom beside the guest bedroom adds convenience for guests staying in this room as well as visitors.

Upstairs you will find the second guest bedroom and primary bedroom. There is a washer and dryer located in the top floor hallway for added convenience. The primary bedroom is furnished with a spacious king-sized bed. The on-suite bathroom comes complete with a walk-in shower, soaking tub, and there is also a private deck off this suite so you can unwind in solitude after a long day of salt and sun. The third guest bedroom sports a queen size bed, private bathroom, and deck.

Occupancy: 8.
Stay Requirements: Friday to Friday rental in summer. Minimum of 2-night stay in other seasons. Bedding Configuration: 1 King, 2 Queen, 1 Sofa Bed.
Parking: Off-street parking for 3-4 cars.
Pet Policy: No pets allowed.
Prohibited: Pets, Smoking, RV’s, Boats, Boat Trailers, Charging Golf Carts, Mail and Packages are not able to be sent to the rental.

We love staying in this house. It is very spacious and comfortable. We especially like the short walk to the beach and the beautiful sunsets just outside our door.

Vacation with our children and grandchildren. This place was perfect-no street parking allowed along with no outlet. Sound view was beautiful. Living area was spacious. Kitchen very nice except need potholders. Would suggest ceiling fan on the main deck. Highly recommend this rental.

The channel view from both decks is very relaxing and there are plenty of seating options. Everything was neat and clean. We had a very relaxing vacation. It was located close to the beach in a very quiet area and walking distance to a great coffee shop. Will use this place again.

The Sullivan cottage was a great place, the nicest house I’ve rented in Wrightsville Beach in my 3 year track record. Bryant is great, not sure why I went through VRBO, likely cost me more money doing that.
It is clean, well appointed and the beds were comfortable. Lots of decks but the main second level deck is where we spent more time. The master bedroom deck is nice too and there’s even a small fridge on that level. Very comfortable place. Very private and close to Oceanic/ Crystal Pier.
Cons: I don’t know how this place would be with little kids or people with serious mobility issues, lots of stairs since it is 3 levels. The stairs going to the top floor were numbering 16, higher ceiling in middle level. All 3 bedrooms were comfortable, master was very nice. The outside steps are a little tricky if you have mobility issues. My wife has MS and the stairs did present some challenges. Best to stick to the inside stairs.
The one major improvement I suggest is the main living room TV. Ridiculous. There were 5 remotes. I think one was for the gas logs, but not even sure why they had that one out. It’s 2021, 3 college educated males ranging from 26-59 struggled with the living room TV functionality. There were no instructions, just instructions about all the appliances. 5 remotes? Please simplify, it took us awhile to figure out how to get the input working properly to get to netflix Hulu. I just want to be able to cut it on, not have to figure it out every time.
Overall I’d recommend it and Bryant was responsive to our requests. Nothing major was wrong, just minor adjustments at beginning of week. Enjoy!!

I will let maintenance know to take a look at those remotes and try to simplify - sometimes remotes from other rooms get mixed up with the living room between guests and I understand how frustrating that could be! There are quite a bit of stairs for this unit - if you have mobility issues in your group let us know next time you visit and we can pair you with a home that has an elevator! We want to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. You are right about booking through VRBO - I would suggest renting direct next time to avoid all their extra fee and support a local company instead. Property was clean and well maintained. Well equipped kitchen, nice decks and outdoor shower. Lovely view of sunset at the end of the street. Very easy walk to the beach or Oceanic for food or drink. Bryant real estate has awesome customer service dealing with any issues!

The location was nice, but the rental was very outdated...and because of that seemed dirty. In these days of covid I would expect the unit to be spin and was not. The furniture in the dining room, bar and lower porch was so uncomfortable.

The Sullivan property is a very well maintained home, but I will make note of your suggestions for updates and more comfortable furniture. We hold our housekeeping staff to very high cleaning standards, and the home is regularly carpet cleaned as well as inspected prior to your arrival to ensure cleanliness. If you felt the unit was not clean due to outdated furnishings, we could have sent a housekeeper to correct any issues to make sure you were comfortable during your stay. Location was perfect. On the sound, and about 250 yards from the ocean. We'd definitely stay here again. Our kids were in heaven having their own bathrooms and deck. Kitchen had everything we needed. Minor issue with the fridge but, to my surprise, maintenance came out and fixed it the same day. Extremely pleased with that, and the contactless check in and checkout were nice.

The house was well appointed and the location was fabulous. We took paddle boards and could easily walk to the public access to put them in the water. The beach was a quick walk so playing in the waves was very easy too! The neighbors were very friendly and gave some good pointers. I will definitely book here again!

We had a great time at the house. There are a few things that need attention. We lost some food because the refrigerator wasn’t working properly and lightbulbs needed to be replaced .

The home was clean and adequately accommodated our family of 7. Perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood on the South end just around the corner from Sunday's Cafe (great coffee & Acai bowls), The Oceanic (popular restaurant), Surf shop (bike, paddleboard & surf rentals) and easy access to the beach across the street.

We recently got married in Wrightsville Beach, and family from the UK stayed at this property. The location was wonderful, the property was clean, and fully equipped (although linens only included for an additional fee - luckily we could provide our own). Would definitely recommend this property!

Such an incredible location and beautiful home. The house was bare bones - we had to bring sheets towels, and all the basic necessities, which you normally expect from a rental. That being said, the price for the property is well worth it, just plan ahead.

The property management company, Bryant Real Estate, was a bit rude during check-in. It seemed like an early check-in would be possible, however when I asked about time, they told me they would call me. They never called me until I emailed them that they hadn't called, which was frustrating given how short they were with me about calling me. I spoke with multiple people there so I'm guessing they were just a bit busy and disorganized over the Labor Day weekend. Their app is actually great, I think maybe they just need to improve their customer experience over busy weekends.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience! We are pleased to hear that the location and home suited you. The listing on Homeaway, where your reservation was made, specifies that sheets and towels are not included on reservations less than five nights; we are sorry if the listing was not thoroughly read prior to making your reservation. Our rental contract reiterates the same information and states the check in time for the rental is 4:00pm. The only way to achieve a guaranteed early arrival is to prepay for this service. Although we always strive to allow an early when possible, the ability to grant complimentary early access is dictated by our maintenance and housekeeping schedules. Therefore, we operate under the assumption that all our guests would appreciate being able to access their rental home early and call incoming guests if this option becomes available. We do this to prevent our guests from calling multiple times and speaking to several people in hopes that the property will become ready prior to check in time, especially on busy holiday weekends. Unless we reach out with different instruction or an early check in is purchased for a reservation, it is expressly understood and agreed upon that the property will be ready at the scheduled check in time which we are contractually obligated to honor. Thus, calling and notifying someone that a home is ready at the promised arrival time seems redundant and unnecessary. None the less, we apologize if you perceived this as disorganization and we are glad to hear that our app was useful in providing this information to you during your stay.

Sullivan is located at the south end of Wrightsville beach - a very popular surfing area. The townhouse is next to an open lot looking out over the sound, a fantastic place to sit and watch the sunset, and just down the street is a friendly bar/coffee shop across from the pier. The place was very clean and Bryant Realty was very quick to respond to a question about the thermostat - sending a friendly maintenance worker over within an hour for a quick fix. We've stayed here a couple times and will be back.

We had a great weekend at this rental! Great location, very comfortable, and well equipped. The beach is a very short walk. I appreciated the communication I received from the rental office and the app was very helpful. Make sure you read what you need to bring. I failed to do that and we were short on some things like kitchen linens and paper towels, but that was my fault. I was a little disappointed that we did not have dock access on the sound side, but that's a learning experience - not a fault of the rental. (I will say that "expansive sound views" made me think we were on the very end instead of the unit on the right. Not a huge deal, and maybe I didn't read carefully.) A keyless lock would be nice on the bottom floor door, as we often had to go up and down the stairs to lock it, but not a big deal.

The house was a terrific location with a terrific view of the bay! It was just a short walk to the beach with a prime surfing location. The house met all our needs. Cannot wait to stay again!

We stayed in this condo for the wrightsville half marathon. It was the perfect location for our whole group as far as proximity to the race and the beach, for post race relaxation. Was also just a short uber to the bars for celebration drinks. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed here for a few nights over the Thanksgiving break. Nice house and very easy to walk to the beach and a few good spots like Oceanic and Sundays (a great coffee shop/wine bar). The folks at Bryant were very nice and helpful as we checked in and checked out.

We had a fabulous weekend at the Sullivan rental. The townhouse is in a great location on the south end of WB. It was clean and meet our needs perfectly. We did have to contact the rental office for a few minor issues and they were very helpful and friendly. We even extended our stay an extra night.

Property location & description were accurate. Rental was clean & nicely decorated, just as presented in the listing. We were very pleased. This townhouse was in a great spot. Close to the channel and the open ocean beaches. Short walk to a few restaurants too. Plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable, we were a party of 5 and had 3 friends sleep over one night before a local event. Unit was clean but could use some polishing and updating. Everything was in working order. We had a fantastic stay and would happily rent this same unit again if we return.

The unit is very nice and suited our needs for three couples. Very well located and would stay here again. The plumbing fixtures need updating and the heating system needs some work but otherwise a very nice unit.

We enjoyed the house. The kitchen was well equipped and the living space well suited for our family's needs. We could not get the fireplace or the jacuzzi jets to work. Maybe they're turned off for the winter. The Wi-fi was also sporadic.
Overall, though, the location was good and our visit pleasant.

What a lovely beach home. Perfect location for the beach. House clean and roomy for our family. Love the outdoor shower and covered parking garage on bottom level. I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else. Gorgeous house and look forward to next year!

Very nice house. Master bathroom very dirty. Checked out early Wednesday. Representative called on Friday saying we needed to return keys. Keys were returned on the prior Wednesday.

The Property was in a great location, easy access to the beach, and quiet. The property was clean, everything worked as needed and very comfortable. I would go back there in the future if we come back to Wrightsville Beach.
