“Lacy Cottage” is a stunning and spacious 5-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom lower-level townhouse that boasts beautiful hardwood floors and an open floor plan. The multiple screened porches and covered decks are ideal for maximizing indoor and outdoor enjoyment. The kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops makes meal preparation a pleasure! An intimate breakfast table is complemented by bar seating and provides a more casual dining experience. There is also a formal dining area for family meals. The butler’s pantry is complete with a wet bar and ice maker.

The large living area is furnished with comfortable furnishings that warmly welcome you to sit back and enjoy time together with loved ones. A large, covered porch off the living area showcases ocean views and makes a wonderful, shaded spot to unwind after a long day of fun in the sun. There is a separate media room off the main living area which adds to the spacious feel of this lovely home. A half bathroom in the hallway makes for added convenience for guests and visitors.

Down the hallway you will find the sleeping quarters. Each bedroom in this spacious home has access to a private bathroom making it a perfect floor plan for families and various travel companions. The primary suite is furnished with a king size bed and features an upgraded bathroom complete with a soaker tub, dual vanities, and walk in shower stall. There is another guest room that offers a king bed and two queen guest rooms. The fifth bedroom is a bunk room and makes perfect accommodation for junior family members. There is a traditional bunk bed (twin over twin) and a free-standing twin bed that has a twin trundle that can be utilized for additional sleeping area.

Stay Requirements: Saturday to Saturday rental in summer. Minimum of 3-night stay in other seasons.
Bedding Configuration: 2 King, 2 Queen, 1 Bunk (Twin/Twin), 1 Twin, 1 Twin Trundle.
Parking: Assigned parking on site for 4-6 vehicles depending on size.
Pet Policy: No pets allowed.
Prohibited: Pets, Smoking, RV’s, Boats, Boat Trailers, Charging Golf Carts, Mail and Packages are not able to be sent to the rental.

The home was spacious and very well stocked with everything a family would need for a truly relaxing vacation! The sofas and mattresses could be updated as they were lumpy and very worn but I would visit this home again for a future vacation at Wrightsville Beach.

We started these beach vacations as a beach week nearly 20 years ago. It has now grown into several weeks of beach vacation because of this property. It has a great location. It is about 50 yds from the beach. It is great for large families. Very spacious.

Some areas that could use some attention are the mattresses. Some have been replaces which is good. There are a few others in the queen bedrooms that should be replaced.
There is a concentration of mosquitos that hang out by the entrance and garage areas around the mulch. That area could use some spraying.
All of this aside, it is in a great location, property management is wonderful, and we always look forward to coming back. This is one of the best properties at the beach.

We love the location of this property and have stayed here a few times. The floor plan is great for a large family with plenty of room for everyone. We could tell some of the mattresses have been replaced, which was a nice change from our last visit. We were just steps from the beach as well as Roberts grocery store and restaurants. We have been coming to Wrightsville for over 25 years and this is one of the best locations. Lacy is looking very worn. The living room sofas and chair are so filthy we had to cover them with sheets. The sofas no longer have any support and are horribly uncomfortable. It was so bad that we sent pictures to the management company the first business day after our arrival. We were told that the cleaners would be notified. This furniture needs more than cleaning, it needs to be thrown away. Cabinets, doors, walls need to be cleaned and painted. The property just needs to be cared for better because it’s a pretty place. We will watch for updates on the condition of Lacy because if maintained properly by the owners, it’s a great place to stay.

We're saddened to hear some of the furniture was not up to par for your stay. The owners are already planning on replacing quite a bit of the living room furniture once the busy season is no longer upon us. They also just had the entire interior repainted earlier this year. Unfortunately, with it being such a popular rental during the summer, the wear and tear is more frequent. I can assure you, these owners are very attentive to their property and work very hard to upkeep it. We do hope you'll decide to stay and enjoy the updates the property will have!

The Lacy is an exceptional rental property. Just completed our 2022 stay and found, as usual, the home to be spotless and well equipped. The street is relatively quiet and located within easy walking distance of the beach, food venues and the grocery store. Will return next year!

It was much more spacious than the photos revealed which was really a nice was very quiet which was surprising since there is a unit above but it is very well insulated. It had plenty of beach equipment but you would need to bring umbrellas if you want that kind of coverage. Vicky and Kim with the property management company were wonderful. It would really be nice if they made the beds bc that is the last thing someone wants to do when they have driven a long way to get there.

When the Covid outbreak started, we had an overwhelming amount of guests saying that they did not want people touching their sheets and making up the beds so we started securing them in wrapping so there wouldn't be multiple people handling the sheet and towels sets. I have been informed that this procedure will probably change back to completely making the beds by next season. We hope you will return for a visit very soon and stay again at the Lacy Cottage!

We have been coming to this same Rental for a few years now. We love the house and location however it's time they replace the couches and get smart TVs. The only TV that works was the living room.

Excellent - only complaint - put some cheap hangers in bedrooms - expecting guests to bring hangars in luggage is silly!

Great experience. We had 3 families in the house and there was plenty of space for all of us. Great place for a family reunion. We had a wide range of ages from teens to 80s. Everybody LOVED the house! Super comfortable, great views of the ocean and steps away from the beach, lots of common area to gather and plenty of private area when you wanted to get some work done.

This was our 4th time staying at Lacey Cottage. We have an annual Beach week with 3 families and there is plenty of room for everyone. The house is very clean, The beach is super close to the house. Fantastic property!

It's hard with mattresses since preference varies guest to guest so typically we only replace if they have reached their age or are deformed in any way. My family has vacationed in WB for more than 30 years. We have stayed in various properties managed by Bryant Realty. The Lacy has been one of our favorites so far- great layout and space within the cottage, very clean and well equipped, quiet street, easy access to the beach and surrounding restaurants and businesses! We had a wonderful time at Lacy Cottage and the house was perfect for our large family! We loved the close beach access and walking distance to all the shops and places to eat. Hands down a great place and we hope to come back sometime. The only issue we had was that the master bedroom did not seem to get cool even with the AC on. Had the ceiling fan running but still seemed way too warm at night. Definitely would not prevent us from returning though.

Great location, the house was all we hoped it would be plus it came with plenty of beach chairs, grill, charcoal and 2 bikes. Very short walk to the beach and when not on the beach we relaxed and ate on the large decks. It was also nice that all the bedrooms had their own bathrooms.

My daughters, grandchildren and I had such a wonderful time at Lacy Cottage! The cottage is airy, clean, very spacious and decorated in a cheery, but contemporary style. This was very important to me as beach cottages can look dumpy and out of date. Each room is ensuite and there are 4 porches to which to retreat. The cottage is located 50 steps from the ocean and is well stocked with wine glasses, dishes, pots and pans and even a pizza pan and pizza knife. You can view the ocean from the main porch and easily walk into town for ice cream or for an evening beach stroll. Loved it!

Lacey Cottage was the perfect house for our Thanksgiving reunion which included Grandparents, Adults and Small Children. Everyone enjoyed the ease of one level living after coming up to the first floor. There was space for everyone - children used the den for their toys and the large deck accommodated everyone. Each bedroom had a small deck.
The gourmet kitchen and pantry were well equipped and the ice maker was a bonus. We were able to put on a complete home cooked Thanksgiving dinner.
The house is steps from the beach and Robert's Grocery Store.

We love this property. You can walk to restaurants and Roberts grocery. It's one house back from the beach, so it's a short walk. It's large enough for all my kids and their spouses
(three kids!) There are a ton of beach chairs in the garage, which is incredibly convenient.

Inside it is very roomy with plenty of space.

We absolutely love this home! It is clean, cozy, has plenty of space and accommodates our large party of family and friends. The kitchen is well stocked...has everything your need. We love that it is so close to the beach! It also has a great little Weber grill! We highly recommend this home!

The property location is great! Steps from the beach, grocery and restaurants.
We stayed at this property before, and it was well maintained and very clean. This time right after we checked in, I had to have the cleaners come back and re-clean all the bathrooms. One bathroom still had some toothpaste in the sink. Another bathroom had a running toilet. The cleaners appeared to be rushed as they were still there at the 4 pm check in, and we weren’t able to go in until about 4:15.
The cleaners promptly came back and everything was just like it was the first time we stayed. Fantastic layout with plenty of space for our group of 10.
We have stayed at some very large homes on the island, but this home has a great feel with a great view of the ocean from the porch!

We have vacationed on Wrightsville Beach for more than thirty years and The Lacy is among the best of all properties we have rented. The home was bright,beautiful and clean- plenty of bedrooms, each with a private bath, to accommodate all family members. Wonderful porches on the front and back of the house! Location is great with easy access to the beach,convenience grocery, and restaurants. The street was quiet, with a minimal foot traffic and no public parking. We will rent this property again!

We experienced a minor plumbing issue or two and Bryant was quick in addressing the problems!

As usual the home was in great condition upon arrival. We unloaded our luggage and fro cerise’s and off to the beach. We fid the Lacy Cottage to be our perfect spot in Wrightsville Beach. The owners are super nice people who have assured us a super Beach week vacation. The space allows all of us a relaxing environment.The week was interrupted when one of the grandkids suffered a sever injury from a fall in the house. 911 responded and got us to the hospital successfully. Unfortunately our little boy needed serious plastic surgery to repair a sever wound to his face. This dappened the last couple days in Wrightsville.

The rental was perfect for our family get away. It was clean, nicely appointed, provided some basic essentials, I was surprised by the fee for towels. We hadn't had a separate fee for towels in the past 4 years of renting. The location was great - walk to beach & restaurants.

Hello Heather, thanks so much for the repeat business! I see that you did have an added fee for linens this visit. We include the cost of linens automatically on 5 nights or more, but we have found that on shorter stays, our guest are more price sensitive. Rather than include this large fixed cost on the short stays - we allow the guest to add only what they want to use. This keeps our cost down for you as guest and ensures we provide the best possible experience. If you have anymore questions - give us a call, we are always here to help!

Great location and perfect house for a large group. Very clean and comfortable. Love that each room has a private bathroom and all the porches are wonderful. The only negative is that it’s definitely time for a new mattress in the master bedroom. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

This is such a great space and a great location. We had 11 women staying together and never felt like we were on top of each other. It was very clean and comfortable. The only minor issue we had is that there were no trash bags or paper towels so I would suggest packing those. Check-in and check-out couldn’t have been easier and Bryant real estate was patient with my questions.

Great location just steps to the beach and to the little town. The kitchen had all we needed, very well stocked. The garage space was wonderful with lots of supplies for us and room to store our coolers and inflatables and bikes. Some bedrooms don’t have TVs, but we didn’t mind at all, we watched media on computers and were thankful for the WiFi. The den off the great room offers a wonderful cozy tv or reading or game playing spot. My bed was uncomfortable - hard and crinkle sounding, but that’s okay, all the decks on he home are so pretty, there was always a rocking chair with a breeze for a nice little nap. Highly recommend and we’d love to come back.

This was our third visit to Lacy Cottage. As always, the cottage was ready for our stay. Our kids, grandkids and my wife and I the accommodations, proximity to the beach and town. Once here, you dont need to get into your car again. Just start relaxing and having fun. Mr.and Mrs. Lacy who live on the top floor of this beautiful home are such great people. We always enjoy seeing them.

The cottage is spacious with 5 bedrooms and baths, a beautiful great room and porches on each side of the cottage. The grandkids love every nook and cranny in the cottage and find delightful spaces to play.

We cook in most nights but do have many local dining options and of course ice cream nearby. The adults often catch a beer at one of the nearby bars once the kids are in bed.

Now the best, the beach is 50 yards from the front door of the cottage. Very easy to get all our things to the beach for the sun and fun.

We are ready for our return to Lacy Cottage next year. The grandkids are already talking about it. Our week goes by so fast!

Good Morning,

I want to let all know our family has enjoyed staying at Lacy Cottage twice now June 2015 and again June 2018. It is a wonderful space to gather and reconnect with family. Unfortunately due to family illness we had to take a 2 year break. Lacy Cottage is centrally located on Wrightsville Beach and only steps to the perfect beach. Having said all that the wonderful space was not in perfect condition. Having rented this unit before and seeing it in pristine condition I hope my comments below are helpful.
This “Beautiful Lady” is looking a little tired.

•The showers and the floors still had sand and dirt on them

•The walls, doors and baseboards were dirty

•The carpets in the bedrooms were worn

•The bed linens could be updated


The most disappointing thing we experienced was the lack of adequate ice. The ice maker in the bar area was broken and the ice dispenser in the refrigerator did not function. There was a towel stuffed in the dispenser which was very concerning. What was on it and how long had it been there? I placed calls about the ice problem. It certainly would have helped if someone would have brought us ice to augment the lack of ice in the unit.

Lastly I would like to bring to your attention that six of us contracted “norovirus” while there. It is difficult to determine the etiology of the illness since it is spread by droplet and by the virus living on surfaces, i.e. counters, dishes, etc. I would anticipate you would want a thorough cleaning of all surfaces.

Because we love the unit and its location we have booked for next year and are looking forward again to a great vacation with family.

Very good except that we had personal property stolen from the carport during the very middle of the night. Disappointing. Bad neighborhood and we know quite a few people from the area so that made it more disappointing.

Our family has rented this house for the last three years and each time we've brought a variety of family members and friends. Everyone has loved staying here. The big open spaces and large deck are great for entertaining. The kitchen is well stocked with nice appliances, beautiful dishes and flatware, and a variety of kitchen tools. Its close to the beach and to the ice cream and grocery stores so pre-teens can have a little more freedom and flexibility without parents worrying too much. The best part is that it is so well maintained that anyone with allergies or asthma can reside her with little to no problems.

We rented this house for my extended family's visit to the coast for my wedding weekend. It was clean, spacious, and in a great location just a few feet from the beach! I loved the open floor plan and that each room had its own bathroom. The only downside to this rental was that it's really close to downtown Wrightsville Beach and you could easily hear people at the bars but that was really only on Thuraday night. Also, a lot of the beds need new box springs as they made loud noises if you moved around on them. Overall this was an excellent rental home and I would definitely rent again!!

What a delight! Our family of six adults and 4.7 children under eight years of age had a wonderful time at The Lacy Cottage. Plenty of room for everyone. Short walking distance to many nearby restaurants and the beach. Games were played, shells were collected, the sun and fresh air enjoyed. This rental far exceeded our expectations and provided a warm and cozy atmosphere for everyone of every age to relax and enjoy each other. What happy memories were created. We are looking forward to renting next year.

We choose this property for the location, steps from the beach and all the town shops and restaurants. We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet and secluded it seemed, even being steps from the hustle and bustle. The parking and storage (bikes/boards) were easy and convenient. The house was very clean, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. The only thing we missed from home was cereal bowls. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

We can't say enough good things about this house. It is so incredibly spacious and well equipped. The fact that everyone had their own private bathroom was worth every penny. We had several young children with us and we loved the fact that there was not a lot of extra clutter around, not just to constantly keep them from getting into but because renters bring a lot of their own stuff and I always hate staying at places where there is so much "extra" decor and knickknacks lying around that you have to clear off surfaces to even find room for your own belongings. This home has the perfect amount of furniture, decor items, and kitchen equipment - and all are very nice quality. Bedding was perfect. Big master bath tub was a hit with the kids. So many different deck/balcony areas for everyone to enjoy. Took literally only one minute to walk to Roberts Grocery for anything we needed to buy. We can't wait to come back!!

For a family of ten, this was a great place to stay. With all of the space, we were able to spread out. The rental was very well equipped with kitchen utensils, cleaning supplies, beach chairs, etc. Our only complaint was that there was no tv in either of the queen bedrooms. One of our couples was in one of them and missed having a tv at night. The location was great - an easy walk to the beach and very close to all the amenities in town! It was very clean and there is plenty of parking. Will definitely return!!

Great layout of the home, very spacious and wide open. Sleeping arrangements were great, every room has a balcony except for the kids room. Kitchen was very well equipped. Steps away from the beach, the market, restaurants, bars and ice cream!
