Description

“Kroger” is an immaculate first floor condo in the Wrightsville Dunes complex and is a Sterling Edition building which includes an exterior security entrance. This condo features 3-bedrooms, 3-bathrooms, and spectacular ocean views. Spend your vacation overlooking the white sandy beach or relaxing poolside in a chaise lounge. Enjoy three private beach accesses, pristine manicured grounds, a commercial elevator, and the spectacular sunset views over the marsh. This condo is the perfect location for your next family vacation!

The beautifully remodeled kitchen boasts granite countertops, tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances, and a wine chiller. Everything you need to cook a family meal is included and the sparkling Atlantic Ocean in the background makes a perfect setting while preparing meals. An open concept living space creates a wonderful gathering space for families to enjoy one another’s company. Plush living room furniture lends itself to family movie night after a long day of fun in the sun. The ocean front covered balcony can be accessed from both the living area and primary bedroom.

A spacious primary suite overlooks the ocean and provides access to the ocean front deck. The ensuite bathroom features dual sinks, a walk-in shower, a private water closet, and large garden tub. Two guest rooms with ensuite bathrooms ensure that your travel companions will enjoy the same level of privacy. A queen bedroom overlooks the sound and has direct access to a full bathroom that has shared entry with the main hall. The twin guest room also has sound views and a private bathroom.

The complex offers ground level storage for all your beach equipment and the beach is conveniently accessed by private walkways. You’ll feel like you have the whole beach to yourself! Come spend your next vacation nestled in the magnificent dunes at the northern end of the island at the best vacation destination Wrightsville Beach has to offer.

The Wrightsville Dunes complex requires all vehicles to display an HOA issued parking pass while parked on the property in order to avoid citation. Seasonal parking fees may apply and will be included in the quoted price if applicable for your reservation. Passes are strictly enforced and limited to two per rental unit; no exceptions can be made. All reservations year round will require parking passes which will be issued to the reservation holder at the time of check in.

Occupancy: 6
Stay Requirements: Saturday to Saturday rental in summer. Minimum of 2-night stay in other seasons.
Bedding Configuration: 1 King, 1 Queen, 2 Twin.
Parking: On-site parking for 2 vehicles. One designated space allocated for the unit and one for an unassigned parking spot that is first come first serve.
Pet Policy: No pets allowed.
Prohibited: Pets, Smoking, RV’s, Boats, Boat Trailers, Charging Golf Carts, Mail and Packages are not able to be sent to the rental.
Featured Amenities: Keyless Entry, Shared Outdoor Showers, Commercial Elevator, Two Community Pools, Private Community Beach Access, Tennis Court, Ocean Front, Sound Views.

*Please keep in mind that if you are renting a property with a pool during the off-season, it may not be open or available. Pools are usually open from mid- May to September, but dates can vary based on weather, permits, HOA guidelines, inspections, improvements, and unforeseen events. For more detailed information on specific pools, please feel free to contact our office.

The Kroger unit in Wrightsville Dunes E 1C has a good, well-stocked kitchen, good balcony furniture and a nice kids room with twin beds. But both the Master King bed and double bed need replacing -- both too soft and very sloped and/or sunken. Double bed should be a Queen to adequately accommodate a couple. The living room couch is disgustingly dirty, and very hard to enjoy for that reason. It needs to be reupholstered and cushions discarded. If these improvements were made, we'd be happy to return to this unit.

It was a wonderful stay and the condo was awesome! Very accommodating and the loved the access to the beach and pool! So roomy and loved the balcony and view! A very pleasant and enjoyable experience!

This is a great condo for a family looking for a bit more peaceful get away. Wrigthsville Dunes is located on the north end of the island and there is limited public parking. Despite this, there are some higher density condos and condotel's at this end of the island - I was pleased to see the beaches were no where near as crowded as the central downtown areas. Thus - this part of the island requires more driving than walking to things, but you are rewarded with more space on the beach strand. The condo itself is very well maintained. Easy access to elevator was great for the initial move in and the final move out. The AC worked extremely well - something I am always cautious about on those hot summer beach trips. Water pressure was high and everything simply worked well. The management company was great and provided great service at check in as well as responding quickly to a minor concern we had during the stay. Their attention to detail and speed of service can not be matched and I highly recommend not only the condo but also the company! We will be back soon I hope.

This condo is well equipped and decorated very nicely. This condo needs some TLC in fixing overused items such as -sink in the owner bath does not drain well, the toilet Paper holder in the owner bath is loose, the sliding screen to the outdoor deck kept falling off the track, the rings for the shower curtains and the other baths are pitted and rusted and the shared bath shower controls have no indication which is hot or cold. We originally had a different condo rented but we’re told it was not available after we booked it. We were given a choice of three others and chose the Kroger. We were not told that there would be renovation noise in the adjacent condo which was very loud the morning after we got there and lasted all day and parts of the 2nd day. The rental office offered nothing but an apology. We were not told that the pools were closed. It would have been delightful to sit on the pool deck.Love the complex however better communication from the realtor was expected but not delivered. Be prepared to make your own beds they claim Covid rules prevent it but how to Hotels do it?

We apologize that your original booking was not available but glad we had some similar options to offer you! This is a very well maintained condo and one that we do not usually receive negative feedback from so I am surprised by your review! It doesn't look like anything was reported to maintenance during your stay but please know for next time we have technicians available 24/7 should any issues arise and we would love the opportunity to correct any that are flagged to us. I notified maintenance and our hospitality team now of the issues you mentioned in your review and we will take care of them as soon as possible. The Wrightsville Dunes complex is managed by an HOA so unfortunately we do not have an impact on the complex construction or pool availability. In our contract we require a Pool Waiver to be signed that states, "Please keep in mind that if you are renting a property with a pool during the off-season it may not be open. Pools are usually open from mid- May to September, but dates can vary based on weather, permits and inspections." We also note in our contract that we have halted bed making services, not due to "Covid Rules" but based on guest feedback of guest's wanting their linens untouched for peace of mind during the pandemic. We hope to restart this process very soon! We hope you will consider renting with us again on your next getaway to Wrightsville and that it provides for a better rental experience for your family which is the true Bryant standard you can expect. One of the BEST mini-vacations we've ever had! This condo was absolutely amazing! The top end furnishings, the gorgeous views, the friendly and helpful rental staff...EVERYTHING! We had the best weekend!! We will definitely be back!

We had a very enjoyable stay. The property was accurately described in the description. The property was very clean when we arrived. The kitchen was well stocked.The bed linens and towels had been cleaned by a cleaning service and were sealed in plastic. I appreciated that especially during these COVID times. My only suggestions are to clean the couch and chairs, or cover them with fitted covers that can be removed for washing. They are beginning to show some wear and tear. Also, replace the rugs in the bathrooms with memory foam type vinyl rugs that can be wiped off to cleaned.
Overall, we had a wonderful trip. The weather was perfect with temperatures in the high 70's in December. We had a delicious anniversary dinner at Catch Restaurant. I would recommend the property to family and friends.

We had a wonderful week at Kroger. This condo is quite large, well appointed and has some nice upgrades like granite and wood flooring. The view of the ocean is spectacular in the morning. I would definitely stay here again.

Kroger provided a lovely private beach vacation. We rarely heard or saw other guests and loved meals on the deck with a great sky/ocean view. Beautiful sunrises! It was fun to enjoy the pool area on our walks to and from the beach.

It was clean but carpets desperately needed to be cleaned. They had people working to put up hurricane shutters. Told us it would take 3-4 hours and it took 3 days of in and out. Master bed is VERY lumpy and NOT comfortable. This is about our 5th year staying in this unit and probably our last.

We apologize for the interruption from the HOA installing hurricane shutters; we don't have much control over that since it is mandated by a private HOA company, but hopefully it did not disturb your vacation too much! I have made note of your suggestions to replace the master bed, and have on record several other people who mentioned similar things. I will pass this info along personally to the property manager to relay to the owner, but please know we can only make suggestions and ultimately it is up to the property owner to pay for updates. Mattresses are a tough one, as many different people have different preferences but I will see what I can do! If the mattress is replaced, I will update reviews and also send you an e-mail. This was a beautiful location with a great view. Two guests needed walkers, and the level hardwood floors and elevator access made it simple. It was beautifully decorated and the beds were quite soft. Beach access was also easy, and there were plenty of kitchenware to use for cooking and eating. Great place to stay!

Condo was nice and clean. A little hiccup with the door code, they bought keys to us within 10 minutes. Realty Agency was great. Some outdoor maintenance should be done in the elevator area. But otherwise a nice place to stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed rental property, location, shopping, and the local restaurants. Wrightsville Beach and Wilmington are excellent locations to spend a vacation. We hope to visit again this summer and again during the winter.

The rental condo was lovely. It rained the majority of the time we were there, so we only had one full day on the beach. Despite the weather, we had a great week. The only issue was the bed in the master bedroom. The mattress had a slope on the right side, so I felt that I was sliding off at times. I would definitely suggest replacing the mattress.

The unit was decorated beautifully. However the king mattress in the master bedroom was so uncomfortable my son and his wife could not sleep together. I dont mind paying the rental price but that would keep me from renting that unit again.

Four best friends met for a birthday celebration weekend. The weather was picture perfect and the beach was beautiful. We especially enjoyed the view from the balcony and walks on the beach. The fact that the condo was so nice just made the weekend even more special.

We've stayed in this unit several times during vacation visits to Wrightsville Beach. The furnishings are nice however, the master bedroom mattress needs to be replaced. Besides the condition of the master bedroom mattress, I would recommend this unit to others.

After hours checkin very smooth,though could have used more description of what various security codes & keys were for. WIFI login incorrect, but we were able to figure it out. Condo very clean, nice updated furnishings/decor, and well appointed with all you need! More spacious than it looks in pictures and very comfortable for 6. Suggestions for improvements: thought charging more for skimpy amount of linens & more still if you wanted sheets put on your beds, was nickel & diming too much. Needed more "starter" shampoos/conditioner /lotion so each person has at least have one. BYO napkins.

We will be looking into the description of various security codes/keys to ensure all is clear along with the verification of the wifi information. We hate to hear you feel as if you were "nickel & dimed" but there are indeed fees for linen rentals, as stated in order forms and contracts. Lovely unit, but much too far a walk for 2 senior citizens. We couldn't really tell the distance from the picture we were shown- and, yes, we had informed the agent of our needs. And sadly, we couldn't merely settle for gazing at the ocean, with morning coffee say, because the multiple dunes block the view from the deck.

Great rental property with good views and easy access to the beach. Unit was very well maintained and kitchen was stocked with every thing that a family would need. Room was tastefully decorated and all furniture was comfortable and in very good condition. We had a great stay with no complaints. Everyone at the pool and the beach was very friendly and Bryant was very helpful in making sure that we were satisfied right from the start. 5 stars.
