Description

One of the top features in this exquisite 4,000 square foot luxury home is the amazing ocean views from the expansive oceanfront deck. Whether you are relaxing in the living room or sunning on the deck, you will be surrounded with panoramic views and memories of the days you spent of “Island Dreamin’”.

The foyer gently guides you to the main living level of the home, a massive open concept area with stunning ocean views. At the top of the stairs, you are immediately thrust into endless ocean views as you are met with walls of sliding glass doors and high vaulted ceilings with exposed beams that give a very open and welcoming feel to the living space. A wonderful gathering space for families, the heart of this home is furnished with a large dining table, additional bar stool seating and a comfortable sofa that overlooks the ocean front deck. The kitchen has granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and a sizable pantry which is convenient for storing your groceries.

Just off the main living area is a hall with two sets of bunk beds and flat screen tv which leads into the primary bedroom with a king bed. The on-suite primary bathroom boasts a large soaker tub and walk in shower stall. The bunk room and primary suite can be accessed separately for privacy. Just past the stairs is the first of two laundry rooms and a half bath that services the main living area. The hallway runs the length of the house and gives access to a queen guest room with private bathroom and walk in shower, a guest room with full size bed, and a delightful queen guest room with flat screen tv, skylights, and private bathroom. There is a full bath at the end of the hall that serves the guest rooms on this level. At the end of the hall to the left you will find another king suite with a large walk-in closet, private bathroom and access to a deck that is shared with the neighboring bunk room. The bunk room has a bunk bed that is a full-size bed over another full bed. There is another washer/dryer set at the foot of the stairs leading to the second floor of this home.

The top floor opens to another full kitchen with granite counter tops and an additional living area with a large flat screen TV. This versatile space is wonderful for accommodating large families and ensures there is space for everyone to spread out, relax, or gather together. A picture window reveals sweeping ocean views from the living room and the deck overlooks South Lumina and the Intracoastal Waterway. This is a great spot for enjoying private sunset dinners over the waterway or sipping your morning coffee.

Occupancy: 18.
Stay Requirements: Saturday to Saturday rental in Summer. Minimum of 4 night stay other seasons.
Bedding Configuration: 2 Kings, 3 Queens, 3 Bunk Beds (twin over twin), 1 Full Bunk Bed (full over full).
Parking: Parking for 7 cars under house and can accommodate 8 vehicles total.
Pet Policy: No pets allowed.
Prohibited: Pets, Smoking, RV’s, Boats, Boat Trailers, Charging Golf Carts, Mail and Packages are not able to be sent to the rental.

OVERALL we had a good time at this house because we were with family that we hadn't seen in a long time. However, there were some maintenance issues that, really, for the price we paid for the house were unacceptable. Bryant RE did the best they could to address the issues and we appreciated that. The bedrooms definitely needed some help in the furnishing dept: large pieces of furniture jammed into small rooms and lamps that were not plugged in and couldn't be plugged in because there were no plugs that weren't hidden behind heavy pieces of furniture. One room had loose cable and wires laying on the floor in a corner, completely unprotected. There was some concern about portions of the deck railing needing to be replaced for safety reasons. Two TV's didn't work. One got fixed, and the other wasn't able to be fixed because of problems with the service provider. Again, Bryant RE was very responsive in trying to help with the issues at hand.

As far as the location and views, they were super nice. With the exception of bedding comforters and pillows, the house was very clean when we checked in. Very easy to get into with a keypad installed on the back door. Plenty of parking. It's a good house for a family get-together if you don't need everything to be spot-on.

We had a childhood reunion that was all adults the house was perfect plenty of space and great location on Wrightsville Beach

The Oceanfront location is on the quiet south side of the island....30 seconds walk to the nicest part of the beach on the island. The house is well appointed. The owner and the real estate team are great. Will definitely rent again.

Home is lovely and huge- great for a large family group. Well
furnished and lots of appliances and storage spaces. Great views too!Very clean.Was a bit surprised that you had to put sheets on beds. The top floor tub is very slow draining but otherwise things were very good.

This home is definitely spacious enough for larger groups to spread out and still have their own space, especially with the extra kitchen and living area upstairs and most bedrooms having their own bathroom. Certainly one of the best aspects of this home is that stunning oceanfront view and large deck area to relax on while you take in the view. We're so happy to hear you enjoyed this property and all it has to offer. Unfortunately, since the pandemic is still so prevalent, our bedmaking services are still halted to protect our guest's safety - hopefully it wasn't too much of an inconvenience to make the beds when you arrived and the piece of mind that they are untouched was comforting. I let maintenance know about the slow draining tub which should be repaired shortly, thank you for making us aware although we would have loved the opportunity to correct that during your stay! We hope to see your family back again at Island Dreamin' next time you visit the area, you are always welcome!

This was the perfect house for our party of 7. 7 bedrooms that were very comfortable and clean. The kitchen was large and had everything we needed for preparing meals. The deck had 180 degree unobstructed views of the ocean: magnificent sunrises in the morning and full moon rises at night. The views from the deck were truly spectacular. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. The tv's all worked. There were 2 washers and 2 dryers and 3 refrigerators. Beach chairs, umbrellas, and bikes were under the house for our use. Great location right on the beach and across the street from the surf shop for those who love to surf. It was ideal. Bryant Real Estate was very responsive and super helpful if we needed anything. I highly recommend this property.

The building itself is very nice. The beds are all comfortable, lots of bathrooms, sound is well insulated, the multiple refrigerators are very handy, the availability of beach chairs, bikes and boogie boards is a nice plus, and the location is convenient. There were a couple of small maintenance items that needed to be attended to (several blinds in the living room were broken, the sliding glass doors need to be lubricated and one toilet paper holder had been pulled out of the wall) but all in all, it was very well maintained.
The two biggest complaints I have are the fact that there is no shade on the ocean-side deck and the rental is expensive.
I called Bryant Realty twice about the fact that the umbrella on the front deck was ripped and unusable. Both times I was told that they would see if another umbrella could be provided and they would get back to me. Neither time did anyone get back to me, nor was the matter corrected. One of our guests cannot tolerate the sun but loves to be outdoors. He was unable to enjoy the ocean view until late afternoon and evening because of the lack of shade. After we left, I called Bryant again to report the issue. I would be interested to see if anyone attended to it.

We heavily rely on guest feedback to make improvements at the properties so I made note about adding some more shade to the deck and reported everything else to maintenance. I am sorry the unit fell short in a few places maintenance wise, sometimes even when things are reported on turn days we just can't get to everything in time for check-in since we prioritize larger issues such as AC or appliance issues. Island Dreamin' had some updates before the summer season such as all the carpet being replaced with new fluffy carpeting. I'm glad you were able to take full advantage of all the beach equipment and bikes under the deck - the owners certainly thought of everything! We hope to see you and your family back next time you visit Wrightsville Beach!

We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful house. There were 12 of us, and plenty of room for all. The living area, kitchen, and deck got tons of use and we loved the ocean views. The upstairs lounge with kitchen was perfect for the teenagers. Great location. Would love to book again!

We rented this very large cottage, anticipating 18 family members. Because of Covid-19 concerns, only 9 of us were able to go. Needless to say, we had PLENTY of room. We liked the quality of the beds, the closeness to the beach, all the appliances, and the soundproof nature of the cottage.the front porch could use more shade so it could be used during the was great having the boogey boards, bikes, and kayaks available to use. Thank you!

A random collection of family and friends from 15-84 years old... each person agreed everything was perfect. House was user friendly with great beach access. Wrightsville Beach is a sweet beach town.
