The porch is lined with rockers for you and your family to sit and relax or there is a wonderful sitting area under the home that is furnished with outdoor sofa seating. Location is everything and being one house back from sound, a short walk to the ocean, and a few blocks from downtown Wrightsville Beach makes this cottage the ideal choice for your upcoming family vacation.

The convenient one-level floor plan is perfect for small families. As you enter the home you will be greeted by the open main living area. A cozy sofa and armchairs make a comfortable space for families to reconnect or watch TV. There is a dining table just outside of the large kitchen with its bright and airy décor. Nicely renovated, the kitchen offers upgraded counter tops while preserving the original charm of the home. A sunroom along the back of the house is a quiet haven after a day at the beach or a great place for a family game night.

The first guest bedroom is located just off the main living room and is furnished with a queen-sized bed. This guest room has direct access to the full bathroom that is shared with the neighboring and queen guest room. There is a walk-in shower with beautiful subway tile to help wash away the day. The second Queen guest room adjoins to another full bathroom which has shared access with the twin guest room.

Outside there is a convenient outdoor area under the house with a dining table and grill - a great spot to cook that cheeseburger in paradise! This home perfectly blends indoor outdoor living so that you can experience the best of both worlds. There is plenty of storage space under the house for beach gear and bikes. If you are looking for a convenient location that offers tons of outdoor space, then look no further!

Stay Requirements: Saturday to Saturday rental in summer. Minimum of 2-night stay in other seasons.
Bedding Configuration: 2 Queen, 2 Twin.
Parking: Driveway parking on site for up to 4 vehicles.
Pet Policy: No pets allowed.
Prohibited: Boat Trailers, Smoking, RV’s, Boats, Pets, Charging Golf Carts, Mail and Packages are not able to be sent to the rental.

The Fisher cottage has a wonderful location with a great outdoor space. The covered porch was wonderful in the morning and during an afternoon shower. The cottage is surprisingly very roomy considering it looks small from the outside. The only thing that I would change is the amount of “stuff” in the house. It felt cluttered. Otherwise the place was clean, inviting and well equipped for our weekend.

This beach cottage was a great place to stay and clean. The location was close to main strip and restaurants including bars. We loved how much space the house offered for the 5 of us staying, nobody felt like they were on top of each other. The sunsets from the sound is a must see and can see it right from the porch. We enjoy the porch so much and probably spent majority of time there. We are looking forward to coming back for future stays.

Overall the visit was relaxing.
Noticed that there were no smoke or carbon monoxide detectors at all in the house. Reported this to the associate at the realty office.
House was very clean. Location was great.
Most disappointing item was Bryant Reality's policy for cancellation. Not fair to the tenant to lose deposit if the unit doesn't get rented after one cancels. Probably will not use Bryant again for this reason. We were insulted on such a rule.

The front wrap around porch is certainly a guest favorite with the rocking chairs. We appreciate the kind words on how clean the unit was - we work very closely with our housekeeping staff to train them on our high standards. Thank you for making us aware about the smoke detectors - we have been busy this off season adding these to all our units to reflect current code. Our maintenance tech found one in the hallway but went ahead and added an additional four for the living room and bedrooms. There is no need for a carbon monoxide detector though since there is no gas or garage parking in this unit. We are sorry to hear you disagree with our cancellation policy but hope you will consider visiting Fisher Cottage again in the future. Take care!

The Fisher Cottage is in a great location. Love the old beach cottages. Very clean with great kitchen amenities. The large porch was my go to place for relaxation. The bedrooms and bathrooms situation was a little quirky but all in all a good place to stay.

Everything from the furnishings, porch, and décor exudes comfort. The rooms are a bit quirky - got to love those older home floorplans but it works well for a rental with two shared bathrooms so each bedroom always has a bath. It's wonderful that the unit was nice and clean on your arrival as we work very closely with our housekeepers to ensure they are meeting our cleaning standards. The wrap around porch with all the rocking chairs overlooking the channel cannot be beat and it's great to hear you took full advantage of that. We appreciate you renting with our locally owned company and would love to see you back again next time!

This could be a great place but a few issues hampered our enjoyment: terrible mosquitoes outside under the house and especially in the outdoor shower, not being able to shower in one of the bathrooms and not having a working light in the bathroom with a functioning shower. In addition, the handle repeated fell off the front door and having a front door that locks every time it’s closed is a pain when you gave children running about. We appreciated the view and location, space available and well stocked kitchen.

We are bummed to hear you had a couple issues during your stay that took away from your overall enjoyment. The front door is super old school and locks automatically as a safety feature, but I can understand that being frustrating. I don't see that you reported any of the other issues during your stay to maintenance, but we would have loved the opportunity to correct them. Our maintenance techs are available 24/7 and we have an after hours service to triage any emergent needs as well so we are always here to make sure your vacation is comfortable. Fisher Cottage has so many wonderful things to offer such as a wrap around porch with plenty of seating overlooking the sound, a recently upgraded kitchen with new appliances and countertops, and an abundance of charm as an older home here on the island. We hope to see you back renting with us again, perhaps we can find you a different unit that checks more of the boxes you are looking for. Keep in touch!

We had a great long weekend at this charming home. It's perfectly located close to the beach, to sunset views on the Banks Channel, to restaurants, and to getting on or off the island easily. The layout is simple and provides plenty of living and sleeping space as well as bathrooms. The kitchen was very well equipped. The highlight for us was definitely the large covered porch, where we spent a majority of our time. Only one note - the "pet friendly" description should say "dog friendly".

The Fisher cottage reminds me of going to a beach house way back several decades before they got so fancy....but it is very well equipped. Reasonably clean, plenty of space for 6 and generally comfortable. The mattresses were firm. The kitchen was good and they actually had some spices and had left some trash bags out. Nice outdoor shower. The gem is the porch. Great outdoor space with sound views and pretty sunset. The neighbors bushes could be trimmed for better viewing but that’s out of the Fisher’s control. The quirkiness was with the 2 placement of the bathrooms but it was tolerable for the price of the rental. I would guess this home was built in the late 40s but has been updated. It was fun seeing the family pictures since my family had a beach house from 1971-2014 in NJ. One easy fix would be better seating in living room. They should buy a sectional and get rid of the current situation.

What a great house for 3 couples and 2 dogs! Proximity to the sound and the beach is amazing, and THE PORCH! If we were home, we were on the porch! House was very clean, kitchen was well stocked - could have used a bigger fridge though, seems like it is on its last leg with the door shelf arms either broken or missing. We made it work with all the coolers we brought. Will definitely rent again!

We are repeat renters of Fisher Cottage, and we plan to keep coming back. The house is no frills, but has everything you need and makes for a perfect beach rental. The majority of your time will be spent on the large deck staring at the waterway. The location is perfect! The recent kitchen renovations looked great! We also love that we can bring our dogs along- the yard is the perfect size for them too! Fisher Cottage of one of our favorites- can't wait to come back again!

My daughter and grandson stayed at this home with 2 mid-size dogs. They loved the home and it accommodated them nicely. It was about 5 blocks from where we were staying. When we opened the home, there were no noticeable signs of pets being in the home. It was very cute! Nicely decorated and well taken care of. We visited a few times and had dinner there one evening. Well appointed and everything was clean.

During Christmas week it is difficult to get assistance from real estate company. The light over the dining room table dis not work - likely a bulb but not sure because it was an older lamp. No bulbs could be found - yes, we could have driven to store to buy a bulb, but because it was an "older" style lamp, we were afraid of breaking the glass. The TVs were difficult to operate - no instructions. Everyone's cable company works differently. Lastly, no trash can could be found...and could not reach anyone from Bryant until Thursday after Christmas. Matt came by and instructed us to leave trash under porch.

Thanks so much for your stay! Our office was closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We did have maintenance on call for emergencies, and we are confused about the portion of your review stating that is was difficult to get ahold of us. Our records show that you spoke to our Emergency On-Call Maintenance Tech several times over the phone and met him when he came to the property to change a light bulb on Christmas Eve. Records also show that you met another one of our Maintenance Techs during business hours, after calling in to our office and reporting that the tv's were not working. We are happy to know that our Maintenance Tech Matt was able to respond quickly and turn on the cable box for you, as well as to take your trash. We are so happy that the home worked well for your daughter and grandson and was comfortable and homey for them and their dogs, and hope they come back to Wightsville Beach for vacation for years to come!

The best things are this house are the great location and huge deck. The inside is comfortable and spacious for a traditional cottage. We have stayed multiple times and will be back. Perfectly tucked away on a street close to the sound, but also an easy walk to the beach, and very convenient to restuarants/stores.

Second stay at this home. Loved the location, the condition of the house is OK. Ceiling fans were very dirty and we had to clean before using them. We like the old-fashioned charm, but the front storm door needs replacing as well as the front door. Signs of wood rot on the original windows.

Front porch is awesome with a nice sound view. We spent a lot of time there.
Bathrooms and kitchen are quite old but clean and functional.
The floor in the kitchen has an alarming sag - This caused the stove to be so off level that eggs rolled to one side of the pan!

I love the house. Reminds me of the old beach houses on Sullivan's Island, SC where I grew up so if you're into that vintage...you will love it. Great utilization of space. The porch is fabulous and wonderful sunsets and moonsets as well. Easy access to beach. Easy walk to the beach bars. My only shock was that I could not find a recycling bin ANYWHERE on the property. So all of the plastic bottles and cans and glass went to the garbage can. As of 5/12/19, there is construction/new build directly behind the house and diagonal to house and yes, they are working on weekends so, if the sound of beep beep beep bothers you, you may not like it. It's only during the day and it didn't bother us.

This home is spacious, pet-friendly, clean, has comfortable furnishings, great big porch with hammock and water view, well-stocked kitchen, close walk to the ocean, church, coffee shop, park loop (great for our two dogs), and books and puzzles to use if you forgot yours. Unfortunately, construction right behind the house is VERY LOUD which made relaxing on the hammock or reading in the back room unpleasant (one of our dogs did not care for the pretty constant hammering). You cannot control construction, but Bryant Real Estate did not want to consider a refund on at least one night that we paid a premium rate. The warning about the noise was not on the house page when we booked the place. I would recommend this home to others after the construction is over or at a reduced rate.

Walk on beach each day with first vacation with doggie in tow. Porch sitting to enjoy view of river. Burned dishes in oven with no readable temperatures. Two pecan pies had to be forfeited. Negotiating trade with tv time at night with football fan spouse. Beds very good towels very soft.. just enjoyed the ambiance of the house

We loved our stay at Fisher Cottage. We've stayed at many WB beach houses, and this one ranks near the top! The location is ideal- you can float in the sound/ICW just steps from the house or take a short stroll to the beach. You can walk to all the restaurants, hot spots and shops at WB too. The cottage is open, and has a relaxing, wonderful porch with sound views. The bedrooms are very basic, but fairly roomy and comfortable. There is only one inside shower, but the new outside shower is very nice. I also greatly appreciate that we can bring our furry family members along, and there is a decent yard (not fully fenced) for them too!

The location of the house was great. The interior is very retro, but not in a bad way. Bathrooms are outdated and would prefer a shower in each bathroom and larger shower as well. With some reconfiguration, larger bathroom vanities would be nice. Overall the electrical needs updating, outlets are few and far between. The porch was fantastic! Overall, a good experience, but not for folks who are looking for up to date accommodations. I would stay at this home again if 5 or less persons.

Loved the retro beach cottage with upgrades - location was central to sound and beach. The 3 BR/2Bath layout was a snug fit for 4 adults and 2 pre-teens. We used the outside shower instead of the claw foot tub in the Master Bath. Wrap- around porch and hammock were very popular spots. Very clean and generally well- appointed. Bryant Realty Hospitality site kept in touch throughout visit, but could use some tweaking on return messaging.

We had a wonderful stay at Fisher Cottage. The location was perfect! The layout of the house is a bit odd since you cannot access a bathroom without going through a bedroom, but we made it work. We had trouble locating light switches and outlets, but other than that the house was perfect! Well equipped Loved the new front deck! We would stay here again for sure!

We spent the winter here, escaping snow & ice in Maine. Very quiet location yet walkable to beach, restaurants and shopping. The Fisher Cottage had everything we needed and any help we sought was quickly provided by Bryant.

Wonderful week we spent here with my daughters and their husbands (6 adults). We spent lots of time on the fabulous porch watching the sunsets - also enjoyed the back sunroom for jigsaw puzzles. Close to beach and restaurants, coffee shops, loop. Well appointed and well stocked kitchen. Older house but that's what we loved!!

This house was great. Everything we needed was there. We celebrated Thanksgiving with the rest of our family, staying one house over. We had a great kitchen to work out of, great porch, close to restaurants so we could all walk. Thanks! Hope you got the box for the TV for the next guys coming in.

Great trip. Location is good. Beds were all in good shape and each room had a ceiling fan. Bathrooms need to be updated to allow for more privacy; located between bedrooms need to be more secure. I'd go back if this was addressed. Downstairs shower needs to be operational. If the downstairs shower works then most folks won't use the upstairs at all.

The house was perfect for our family Christmas. The kitchen was very well equipped for a beach rental.
We loved how close it was to both the sound and the beach. The front porch was a favorite spot!

This house is cute, but tight, very tight. There is just a lot of stuff there so definitely not meant for a crowd. There is a beautiful porch with a beautiful view. The one part I found very frustrating is that it says "2 bath" but it only has 1 shower, that is between two bedrooms, so you have to go into someone else's bedroom to use the shower. I wish that was more clear in the description.

We loved this house. It's comfortable, inviting and perfectly situated to be convenient to everything. The large covered porch with its hammock and view of the sound was our favorite hangout. The house had everything we could want or need including very comfortable beds, wifi and smart tv as well as some basic household supplies. Some reviewers complained about the small bathrooms, but who needs a big bath when there's such a large outdoor shower to use after a long day on the beach? My only recommendation would be to add a towel hook or 2 to that shower. We will definitely be returning to this house next summer!

We love to spend the morning on the porch the day on the beach and the evening cooking and enjoying a family meal! The kitchen is plenty big for "too many cooks" and the large table is perfect for family style dining... Followed by card games! The "kids" enjoy tv while others relax and read in the comfy back sunroom. We serve appetizers to the grill masters on the patio using the back steps. We drop our kayaks in at the end of the street to paddle down to our friends. Fisher Cottage is quaint, comfortable, and spacious!

The Fisher Cottage was perfectly located between the beach and sound. We could walk to pier, restaurants, grocery store, ice cream shops, bars, bike rentals and more.There was public access to the sound where we put in stand up paddle boards. We enjoyed rocking in the breeze on the wrap around porch. Plenty of room inside to spread out. Missed the wifi but managed ok with cell phones. We would definitely stay here again.
