"Enoch” is a 3- bedroom, 2- bathroom family home that has been cared for and loved by multiple generations! This treasured home is tastefully updated in a way that highlights the historic charm of this property while blending modern conveniences. There is so much to love about this home – come experience the charm for yourself!

The main living area has a perfect way of blending a charming old-fashioned style with tasteful touches that add modern comfort. The living room sports original hardwood floors and ceilings and has been furnished with modern furniture to offer the highest level of comfort. Striking blue hues that accent the wooden walls and ceilings add a warmth that will make you feel right at home. A round dining table is positioned by the sliding glass door and overlooks the Intracoastal Waterway. The galley kitchen is stocked with all the necessary kitchen essentials to assist with your meal prep! There is a hall bathroom that is complete with a dual vanity that serves the nearby guest bedroom on the main level. The primary bedroom is furnished with a double bed and complemented by antique nautical décor.

At the top of the stairs, you are greeted by a full bathroom that features a lovely walk-in shower. There is a guest bedroom that offers a double bed and a twin bed. This darling room offers a sitting area, vaulted ceilings and has ample natural light. Across the hall is the third guest bedroom. This room offers two double beds and a twin bed. Sweet coastal touches capture the quaint beach house feel that is sure to capture your heart.

Spend warm summer evenings on the private pier soaking in the dazzling sunsets. There is truly not a better vantage point on the island to experience the marine life and boaters. Young children will enjoy playing in the gentle sound waters by the shore and adults and teens will appreciate the swimming platform that is accessed from the pier. Launch kayaks or paddle boards and head out on an adventure that you will remember for years to come! This amazing cottage has been lovingly maintained through the generations and now warmly welcomes you and your family to experience the magic that has captured so many hearts.

Occupancy: 10
Stay Requirements: Saturday to Saturday, Minimum of 2-night stay other seasons.
Bedding Configuration: 4 Full, 2 Twin.
Parking: Parking allows two cars, one parking spot beside the home, one additional parking spot across the street with parking pass. Garage is not included with the rental.
Pet Policy: No pets allowed.
Prohibited: Pets, Smoking, Gas and Charcoal Grills, RV’s, Boats, Boat Trailers, Charging Golf Carts, Mail and Packages are not able to be sent to the rental.
Featured Amenities: Keyless Entry, Dock, Waterfront Gazebo, Sound Front, Duplex.
Property Disclosure: This is a family friendly unit in a residential area. There is a year-round tenant in the lower unit. The pier is not boat friendly but can be used for outdoor dining or for swimming access.

My sisters and I had a lovely stay in this beautiful updated old cottage, which is charming. We spent many hours on the pier attached to the Waynick cottage, met our neighbors, and generally found much in common.

The cottage is very cute, plenty of beds, with 3 in one room upstairs, and 2 across the hall and a master on the first floor. Bathrooms obviously recently redone very nicely. Generous porch with great view of the Sound and the dock for our use across the street. Being close to beach access made it super easy to take the kids down each day. Not a ton of privacy so be sure to use for a close friends/family experience.

This was a great place to stay! 5 of us took a girls’ trip and it was just the right size. We’d recommend a few more rocking chairs on the front porch, as well as some furniture added to the dock area. Those two places were such fun locations to relax, drink cocktails, and talk! We called about an issue with the AC unit and within an hour, it was fixed. We were so happy with this vacation home and would love to visit again soon! Highly recommend this house to others!

Parking is an issue

The house overall is nice, a little dated. It has a great pier and dock. Parking is very difficult if you have more than 2 vehicles. I had to pay an extra $125 in parking for one of the people staying at the house so they could park on the street at the meter. I think it should also be disclosed that there is a person that lives un the space under the main house. If you think you are getting the entire house you are not, and you do not have access to the garage. I would opt for a better location and house with more parking.

Hi Frank, thank you for your review and feedback. The home is an older cottage but is excellently maintained and kept up with by the property owners. They are down regularly to spruce up the home. On the website, you can see in the description it says "parking allows two cars, one parking spot beside the home, and one additional parking spot across the street with parking pass. Guests do NOT have access to the garage." You could always park the third car off the island and use the other cars to shuttle back to that one if it's needed! Additionally on the unit page, it says "this property is a family friendly unit in a residential area that has a year round tenant in the lower unit" so I think our advertising was quite clear on expectations - sorry if you missed that! Give us a call next time before you book and we can definitely pair you with another unit that is a bit newer or more upgraded, we certainly have a bunch in that area! Thanks again!

It was great but I was very dismayed to hear that the person downstairs complained that we were noisy. We are just two families fishing, swimming, and playing cards. I have never had any kind of complaint about us being noisy before. We have stayed at this property in the past. I would have picked a bigger (and more expensive) property but only this one was left. Overall it is adequate with an amazing pier

Overall the house was great. Very clean, large bedrooms. Great view of the waterway. Pier and gazebo are new. Only negative is that dock area for boat is very small and climbing down from gazebo area to dock is hazardous; especially at low tide.

Bryant Realty booking was easy with on-line booking, prompt responses to emails, late check-in and early check-out. Loved the retro beach house...the best of the original '40s cottage with modern conveniences, cable, wi-fi. Loved sitting on the porch in rocking chairs watching beautiful sunsets every night. Channel-front with access to a private pier and beach, quick walk to the ocean beach, short drive to outstanding BBQ restaurants, grocery, fresh seafood, and historic sights. Lots to do in nearby Wilmington. Shopping at Cotton Exchange, historic Downtown and port. Only negative was the traffic noise but we will definitely come back.
