Description

Please note: Although the NC Governor has opened community pools to 50% capacity in his Safer at Home Phase 2 order, open dates for communal pools and shared amenities are subject to the community Home Owners Association. Equipment rentals that are normally provided, such as tennis etc., may not be provided and/or available for guest use.

Station One unit 1/G - Kids young and old will enjoy a Wrightsville Beach vacation in this 2 bedroom, 2 bath 1st floor condo in Station One. It is beautifully appointed with attractive décor and boasts ceramic tile in the kitchen/living/dining area.

Enjoy superb ocean views from the private balcony overlooking the swimming pool. There's lots to do at Station One! Lounge by the pool, pay a match or two on the tennis courts, and of course, the ocean is right there!

Other amenities include a grilling area with picnic tables on the meticulously groomed grounds, coin laundry on each floor, 24 hour security, and elevator. Conveniently located, Station One is just a short stroll to downtown Wrightsville Beach with shops, grocery, and restaurants.

There is parking for 2 cars in the street side parking lot. Occupancy: 6 No Smoking. No Pets.

The Station One complex requires all vehicles to display an HOA issued parking pass while parked on the property in order to avoid citation. Passes are strictly enforced and limited to two per rental unit; no exceptions can be made. All reservations require parking passes which will be issued from the front office at Station One to the reservation holder at the time of check in.

**Effective January 2, 2020 all vacation rentals for this property will include a full linen package in the total cost paid. Bed making services are not automatically included but may be added via the rental contract. **

Love the area and the unit's keyless entry.Unit is directly above pool gate and pool so noisy in day. Floors so dirty my husbands white socks were black; Mst bedroom bed warn and blinds all broken so light woke us up daily. Water bugs in bathroom twice. Kitchen lacked some essentials (no ice trays or spatulas). Needs TLC.

Regrettably we were not advised of cleanliness issues during your stay, although, we realize the carpet isn’t suitable for every guest as it does wear quickly and stain. Our hospitality staff has been notified of your concerns and will take the necessary steps to correct any issues found with the carpets. Palmetto bugs are prominent in our region and are an unavoidable part of island life. We have been staying at Station One for the past 4 years. We love the location, the beach access, storage, pool, etc. Condos are quiet overall and makes for a great stay. Everyone at Bryant is super friendly..

Condo itself is okay. Furniture is beginning to show its age and is dated. Blinds need to be replaced, esp in Master. Hate the washer and dryer aren’t in there any longer but assume it was not cost effective to keep them.

I do like the new linen service.

Wonderful!! Great place. Everything to right there. Pool. Ocean. Beach. Restaurants. Walking path. Ice cream shop. Playground. Never got in van except one day during rain we went to Wilmington only 10 minutes away. Power of Play in Wilmington was awesome for small kids

Incredible October weather made this a great stay. Condo's location is perfect for everything you would want to walk to, including Roberts Grocery and their incredible ice cream sandwiches.

The location of this unit is great, but there were a few things about the condo's interior that could be better. The bedspreads and pillowcases in the room with the bunk bed are extremely worn- there were holes in them. The rail of the top bunk is tilting and looks precarious if you have a young child up there. The unit was advertised as having a washer and dryer, but upon arrival we opened the closet to find nothing. Laundry on-site is $1.50 to wash, and $1.50 to dry, quarters only. The armoire in the master bedroom is massive and cuts the entryway in half (not to mention banging your leg on the corner every time you enter the room.) Overall, we like this unit for being right by the elevator but would like to see some updates inside, especially replacing the washer/dryer.

Hello Kathryn, Most Station One units do not have a washer and dryer in the unit. This one does, however, the owner has marked them off not for guest use. The unit is advertised as having coin laundry that is shared like most units at Station one. I have alerted Houskeeping of the bedspread concerns and those are slotted to be replaced today. This condo is a great location - easy walking access to several restaurants and shops.
The condo itself is very dated and in need of a deep cleaning. It was very musty smelling when we checked in - seemed like maybe it sat empty for a while before our visit. The linen rental policy makes no sense - if you stay less than 5 days you either bring your own linens or you have to rent. If you stay longer than 5 days the linens are provided. I would think that if you are staying for a shorter time you would likely be flying which would make it difficult to bring linens. We have stayed in several VRBO and never had to rent linens before.
The office staff was very nice as well as the pool and beach area. We enjoyed our time at Wrightsville Beach - we would go back to this area again but rent a different condo.

Regarding the linens, we have recently made the change to offer linens with stays of 5 days or longer. The fixed cost associated with offering linens makes it difficult to include them with shorter stays, however we are looking into ways to make this possible. Station One was mostly excellent. Christine at the front office was great! Very helpful and fun. Bryant RE was great. Unit was nicely furnished. A downside is there wasn't a washer/dryer in the unit, only a coin-operated laundry room, which is a pain when you have lots of wet beach towels. Also, our unit only had one small (8") fry pan, which is ridiculous when you are trying to cook! I would not rent unit 1G again because the lights from the pool are on all night and you can't block them out with the blinds. Also, the complex keys don't always work. Otherwise, we really love the location, the pool was nice (albeit a bit small for that many condo units). We will go back again.

The family would stay at station one for a week every summer for twelve years straight when the children were younger. Now we just started again with my granddaughter and we had the best time. The place was very comfortable and just a great view of the pool and ocean.

This was our fifth stay at Station One and our first time in 1G, and we had yet another fantastic time!

The condo is in excellent condition, well-appointed with plenty of space for our family (2 adults and 3 teenagers made this trip). We were able to eat in the unit or walk to our favorite restaurants and to Roberts Grocery for food and drinks, and the pool and beach were right out the back door.

This unit is directly above the pool, so you will hear people pretty clearly who are in the pool area, but generally the pool was only in use for a few hours in the afternoon/early evening. This was a great trade-off for how accessible this unit is to both the front and back doors to the building.

We recommend Station One over and over again!

Absolutely love this condo. Clean, well kept and well stocked. Hate the washer and dryer was out of order. That was a selling point for us to stay there. Love the building has a beach chair/umbrella storage area by pool (secured). Across street from ice cream, Trolly Stop, Tower 7. Love everything about this place. Hope the washer/dryer gets replaced..we do love this place!

Convenient little oceanfront condo! I must not have checked the linens & towels section correctly. I didn't want to pay for bed makeup; I didn't have towels or bed linens for the family when we showed up after the office had closed! Thankful for Belk's!! I WISH there was a safeguard (double check) understanding about linens & towels. After hours realtor hotline is a must!

Great central Wrightsville Beach location

We decided to make a beach trip with 24 hours to spare so we weren't expecting to find a great property selection. We were incorrect in that assumption. This condo was wonderful. Centrally located - less than a block from shops, restaurants, and all that WB has to offer. The unit was clean and updated and had everything we needed. We chose to bring our own linens but they are available to rent if you prefer. I was a little worried we would hear people all night given our location to central WB, but again, wasted worry. Very quiet condo/property. Only negative was we only had 2 nights here. Will definitely look at this property and unit again for future trips to WB.
