“Bresnahan” has stunning sound views that surround you from the living room, dining area, and both front and side decks. This 4-bedroom, 2- bathroom townhouse is located on the southern end of Wrightsville Beach - close to the Oceanic Restaurant, Crystal Pier, coffee shop, surf shop, and beach access only a short walk away. Watch the sunset from the shared dock that is located across Waynick Boulevard or from the comfort of your porch. This home is paradise for guests that plan to travel with boats and crave easy access to the waterway!

The living room has wall to wall windows that let in tons of natural light which also gives guests a front row seat to all the action that takes place on the waterway. The comfortable sofa doubles as an additional sleeping area for families that need to utilize the queen sleeper sofa. There is a half bathroom nearby for convenience and added privacy. A large dining table and bar seating provides ample space for families to spread out and still enjoy each other’s company. Plenty of counter space makes meal prep a breeze and the clear view of the water makes cooking enjoyable!

The master bedroom is furnished with a king bed and has a private bathroom. A full bathroom in the hallway houses the washing machine and dryer – a big plus for travelers! At the end of the hall there are two queen guest bedrooms that have a very cozy feel. The fourth bedroom has two twin beds and is a great space for younger family members.

The boat slip can accommodate boats up to 27 feet, so load up your boat, pack your gear, and come experience all that Wrightsville Beach has to offer!

We really enjoyed our stay at this sound-side location. We brought our 17' center console and absolutely LOVED being able to hop on our boat at any time and we did! We also rented a golf cart so we didn't even need our car the entire trip. We even went to lunch by boat and visited the local seafood market (Motts) by boat which was great. We found the accommodations fine, kitchen had all we needed, but more sparse than other rentals we have had, and some updating would be great, but honestly having the dock, sound-side beach, and beautiful sunsets made me totally forget anything lacking inside! We barely hung out inside! We had family staying around the corner on S. Lumina and their house was Pinterest worthy for the same price, but they were not ocean or sound front and no views. Everything was in working order for us during our stay. For us this was a perfect spot and Pinterest-worthy wasn't really important to us, but sunsets and boating were! Plus the downstairs neighbor was really cool. Would definitely stay here again.

We checked in to find a maintenance man in house to repair Washing machine; said would be fixed by Tuesday; had to reach out every time for any kind of update. The washing machine did not work our entire stay; huge inconvenience not being able to wash any clothes or towels. Also arrived to a huge planter filled with cigarette butts on porch, along with a spaghetti noodle stuck to ceiling in den, not sure if housecleaning was here or not before our arrival. Dishwasher also broken, The house is terribly out of date; there is no garbage disposal, water pressure in kitchen is almost non-existed, therefore making it Extremely hard to clean anything, especially without a functioning dishwasher. The outdoor shower does not work. The broom on site is probably 5 years old. On a positive note, the location and view is fabulous; if the owner were to invest in updating the place with appliances, furniture, towel racks, etc the place could be lovely.

It's always unfortunate when items stop working and parts have to be ordered, especially when you're supposed to be relaxing on vacation. The part did come in and the washing machine has since been repaired, as well as the dishwasher. I do not see where you reported the outdoor shower not working, so I will let our maintenance department know to take a look at that. We would've been happy to have a technician stop by during your stay had we been made aware. The unit was in fact cleaned prior to your arrival, but I have notified our housekeeping department of the cleanliness issues you mentioned. We take feedback very seriously, so I will be sure to note the items you've mentioned should be updated. If the owner decided to make updates to the property it's helpful to know what previous guests' have mentioned. I do see where you were given a partial refund from our company and our hospitality department delivered complimentary towels for your inconvenience. However, we're glad to know you at least enjoyed the beautiful sound view from the balcony and hope you'll consider us again for your future vacations!

Our family truly enjoyed Bresnahan Upper. We loved the location--incredible sunsets over the sound, walking distance to Oceanic, easy access to the beach. And Bryant Realty was excellent and easy to use, as always. We've already booked our Labor Day getaway with Bryant!

Wonderful experience. Code didn't work when we got there. Instantly fixed with a quick call. I piece of trim loose from floor when we arrived. No problem Maintenance sent and was resolved. Super nice gentleman and made sure there was nothing else needed while he was there. Would recommend updating King mattress. Peaceful sound side awesome for the kiddos to play. Neighbors were very nice. I would definitely feel confident working with this agency again.

Rented this space in order to be close to a wedding venue. It was close and three couples and a baby were each able to have their own room. The space itself was dated, the beds uncomfortable and shaky, most of the kitchen flatware had particles of food and /or rust attached, and although the overall space seemed fairly clean( no piles of sand, cob webs , or dust balls) the rubber on the back of the "master bathroom" bath mat was stuck to the floor and the mat itself filthy. The linens were wrapped in plastic and left on top of the beds which was a bit surprising considering you are charged for both linens and a cleaning service. It was neither a relaxing nor comfortable place to spend time despite the wonderful view of the waterway. It is also located on a very sharp curve which made getting in and out of the parking area difficult at times and always anxiety provoking.

Absolutely phenomenal location! Which is why we were there. Unfortunately the property really could use a face-lift. Broken blinds repaired w two-sided tape & outdated, inexpensive furniture is not exactly what you expect when paying $300± per night. On the positive side the beds were comfortable & there was plenty of parking. Regardless of how many are listed as a maximum occupancy, the unit is really not set up to sleep more than 7 people comfortably.

Our niece was getting married in Wilmington. We are from Connecticut. We decided that instead of going all the way to Wilmington just for the wedding, we would also take a vacation. We went for a whole week (before the wedding) and spent it in Wrightsville Beach. There were 8 of us so the 4 bedroom house we rented was perfect. We loved the fact it was on the Banks Channel side and we had dock rights directly across the street - great for fishing. We were close enough to everything we needed - groceries, restaurants, shops - yet had enough privacy.

There were nine of us staying at the Bresnahan and all in all it was a good experience. The kitchen was quite functional, the bathrooms quite dated and while the accommodations were exactly what they said they were, there was hardly any extra space anywhere. The master was not large and the bedrooms quite small. Pricey for what was offered. We have had Bryant rentals that have had a much better price/value ratio.

We had a wonderful time. The location was perfect for us. The unit was very clean and we enjoyed everything. A dirty towel was hanging behind a door when we arrived so we washed it. The boat slip was used but we realized it wasn't made for a 30' sailboat with a 5' keel as it was stuck in the mud during low tide....but we used another slip during those times. The slip was not marked when we arrived but a neighbor, in an unkind way, corrected us. :O....:). Thank you for your hospitality! Unforgettable memories!
