Recently updated, "Atlantis" is a cozy upper ocean view home that offers convenient access to the beach, Carolina Beach Boardwalk, and the famous Tiki Bar. The public beach access is directly across the street from this property and guests will enjoy the convenience of the nearby Veggie Wagon that has fresh local produce, fresh fruits, vegetables, snacks, premade meals to take to the beach, and island roast organic coffee.

The upper-level unit of this home features of 3-bedrooms and 2-bathrooms. The updated living area features an open concept great room which works wonderfully for gathering the family together. The renovated kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, quartz counter tops, and a spacious island with bar seating. The kitchen table seats six people and adjoins to the open living room which offers plenty of space to relax or enjoy your favorite movie. There is a Full-size sofa bed that allows the living room to double as an additional sleeping area for larger families.

There is a covered, street-side porch complete with chairs, side tables, and rockers - a perfect for relaxing! The primary bedroom features a comfortable King-size bed and private bathroom. There are two additional guest bedrooms that are furnished with Queen beds. Each bedroom has a TV so that you can spread out and catch up on your favorite shows.

***Note that there is a lower level of the structure that is not included with the rental and may be occupied for periods of time.***

Carolina Beach is located on the southeastern tip of North Carolina, on picturesque Pleasure Island. This family-friendly beach is perfect for surfing, fishing and collecting seashells. "Atlantis" is just six blocks south of the Boardwalk area in downtown Carolina Beach. You are within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the summer activities such as fireworks on the beach each Thursday, carnival rides and live music at the Boardwalk, weekly outdoor movies and farmer's market at the Lake. Watch the fishermen come in with the catch of the day at the marina or dine out with the family. Your next vacation in beautiful Carolina Beach awaits you!

The rental was not clean, we spent an hour cleaning the floors upon arrival, after our daughter spent 10-minutes walking barefoot her feet were completely black. Roaches everywhere. Mold in the shower areas. Its an older home, we get that, but clean the floors and hire an exterminator, that's a rather easy task for $300/night rate, yea its that much when you factor in all the fees. The only thing decent about this place was the location. If you're not going to clean it or maintain it, then sell it or demolish it to make way for someone who will.

The location of the cottage is great - we were able to walk to restaurants, and the beach is right across the street (a quiet, one-way street), which is perfect. There were issues, however: the landscaping is so overgrown. There were bugs (We're from FL - so we're used to the wildlife). We called the mgmt. co.; they sent someone to spray. This "beachy charm" cottage needs updating and upkeep.

AC Issues - Hot Hot but Unit only 1 yr. old

The house is in a great location and was a perfect size for our two families. Check-in was a breeze and we actually were able to get in the house earlier than the 4pm timeframe. The floors seemed a little dirty but we just wore shoes inside; otherwise, the bottom of your feet were black within 5 minutes of arrival.
Our biggest issue was the AC. We found out after having someone come out over 3 times that the AC either 1) isn't large enough for the house or 2) there isn't adequate insulation to keep the house cool. We called on day 1 because the air was 77 upon arriving and continued to climb up to 82 degrees. AC Tech said he did what he could. So, day 2, air goes back up to 84 during the day and the AC Tech comes back out and explains there is nothing more he can do. The company finally brings a portable AC unit but it is placed in the living room where the thermostat is so come bedtime, the 3 bedrooms were hot as can be. So after two days of this and rather grumpy from no sleep, we go to the property office and complain and they give us 3 fans to try at the bedroom doors to keep the AC and the portable unit flowing the cooler air. The said they were sending out another AC company for a second opinion and yet the same AC Tech arrived. I know he was upset with us, because he was frustrated when he had done all he could on Day 1 of our arrival. Nothing changed when he came out yet again, to not fault of his. We ended up making the best of it but it definitely was not the best experience due to the AC and for what you pay to rent a house for a week, the darn AC should stay cool like you set it - not continue to rise. We couldn't even cook in the house for 90% of our stay due to the heat in the house and not wanting the stove/oven to make it hotter. We finally had to due to the food we brought needing to be cooked/eaten.
I will say the property management company did respond to our calls best possible; this is on the owner for the AC issue! Plea

The house was perfect. Everything was clean.There were three of us. There were 3 nice bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms and a laundry room, nice living room, dining area and fully stocked kitchen. Plus a wonderful front porch with rocking chairs and a small bistro table with chairs if one wanted to eat on the porch. It was literally a few steps from the beach. I would rent this cottage again in a heartbeat!

When we arrived on Monday late afternoon, the air conditioning was not working. We reported it to Bryant Realty and it was repaired before midnight that same day. We found everything clean and in good condition. The porch was wonderful and convenience to the beach was excellent. There were 6 people and one beagle in our party and we had no problem with space to sleep, sit and use the kitchen and bathrooms. It was well stocked with everything we needed. We could walk out our back door and across the street to the Veggie Wagon, which we enjoyed. The location was quiet and convenient. The only other problem we had was bugs and before we vacated the property, an exterminator was there to spray. Altogether, it was a very enjoyable experience.

We had a great time at Atlantis. The house is a bit run down but suited our needs just fine with the big open space inside and the front porch and the perfect location.

The location of the house was great! However, the house needs some repair as floorboards are coming apart from each other. The rental company wasn’t very helpful in the parking situation. The whole lot was empty all week but they told us we’d get towed if we had more than 2 cars and they weren’t very helpful at finding an alternative solution. Also, a repair person just randomly showed up one day to fix blinds, but no notice was given by the homeowner or rental company.

We enjoyed a really great vacation staying at the Atlantis in Carolina Beach. Great location, really good weather, and extremely warm water. Being dog friendly was another plus and our son's golden retriever had a great time, especially when she was swimming in the ocean. Close to places to eat and the "boardwalk"-(not much of a boardwalk when compared to the Jersey Shore) and beach access is directly across the street. We would suggest that you include more information regarding the amenities in this property. We brought things that were unnecessary because the house already had them, but we didn't know that. Also, the only real complaint would be that the landscaping around the house needs some TLC and an outside shower would really be great. Using a hose just isn't the same. Not sure why we could only have two cars in the lot, when there is room for more and you can have up to 8 guests. Overall though, we had a great time and would recommend the house and Bryant Real Estate.

The home was everything we expected! Being located right across from the beach was so convenient and the home was centrally located that we could walk to numerous restaurants, the boardwalk and park across the street. The home was comfortable and kitchen well stocked with necessary cooking items. Also loved that we were able to have our dog with us who really enjoyed the ocean! It was a wonderful family vacation and we would rent this home again.

5 of us rented this house for a week at the beach at the end of April. We had a wonderful time. The location was great and it was a good pick for us because we were able to bring our dogs. The place is cute with 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a great kitchen, and a full size washer and dryer.
Our favorite thing was to sit out on the deck in the mornings and evenings.
It is directly across from beach access point , walkable to restaurants, the boardwalk, the lake nearby, and the coffee shop/Veggie Wagon is right across the street. Fun fact is that there is a ship wreck at this location -- and we were able to see it at low tide one day which was very cool.
The pictures of the house are accurate for the most part, although the balcony, steps, and railings are a bit worn and could be repaired/replaced/repainted. Would love it if the porch had gates to contain the dogs when we were out there. We simply kept them on leash. Only other comment was that there was some construction trash under the deck which is visible front the street.
Overall we really liked the place and would stay again. We even tried to extend our stay by a day, but it was booked.

Located in a walkable area just across the service road from a handicapped beach access, this clean cottage in a great spot. You really don’t need a car and could make out just fine without one. Our family group of 3 couples were completely at home in this well-appointed beach house and we loved the rocking chair porch, although we did add 2 baby gates at each end for the dog. There was already a Keurig there, so I did not have to take mine out of the car and there were plenty of utensils and pots ( maybe a few more teaspoons would be nice) to make our dinners. There was a dedicated pantry for our use, and plenty of room for our clothes and gear. I appreciated that the decor was nice but not intrusive nor covering all surfaces, so if we wanted to play a board game or work a puzzle, we did not have to clear off tchotchke to do it. I would definitely stay here again!

We loved the place and the location. Was not aware someone would be staying downstairs until after we rented the property. The downstairs tenants came in at 2 AM and was very loud unloading their car. Sucks the parking was right at the master bedroom. Our internet was out when we checked in but we didn’t report it because we didn’t care to have someone in and out of the rental while we were on vacation. An AT&T tech was out the next AM working on it but it never stayed consistent. Second day in the master bedroom lost power so we didn’t have a TV or ceiling fan. But, didn’t care to have someone working on the place while we were on vacation. We would definitely stay again because it was great to be right across the beach and we loved sitting on the porch.

The location is amazing, right across the street from beach access. The interior had a musty smell but got better as we've been there for a few days. It's not in amazing shape but the price was good and we had a nice time. If I was going to be there more than a few days, I would recommend a unit that's a bit more updated and in better shape.

Overall the property is in good condition (there is a leak above the tub). It was exceptionally clean. The master bath could use a little updating; specifically the shower. The location is perfect - just a few steps from the beach access; a nice "grocery store" right across the street; within walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. It could use a couple more rockers on the front porch. The two that are there are great. We could have used an additional parking space. We had to park one of the cars in the Food Lion parking lot a couple of miles away. That was a little inconvenient. Especially since there are additional spaces available at the house. I would stay there again.

What a fantastic stay! 6 Girlfriends from College and I truly enjoyed this spot. a Stones throw away from public beach access, right across the street from the Veggie Wagon (great with 3 Vegans in our crew), and a front porch perfect for hanging out and people watching!.....We will be back!

My family really enjoyed their stay at the atlantis. We enjoyed sitting on the porch at night. We were hoping to rent the downstairs so more of our family could come but just found out thats with another rental company

This house was in the PERFECT location, was nice and well kept. We enjoyed our stay there very much! Right across the street was the beach access which was perfect. AND, a coffee shop located right behind the house! It was also located close to shops and restaurants which was great. We never had to drive anywhere once we got there. Perfect place to stay! Would highly recommend!!

This was the 2nd time we rented this house from Bryant Realty. We enjoyed the stay there in June of 2015 and decided to return in September 2015 for another vacation. The location is excellent with easy access to the beach and the boardwalk. The accommodations were neat and clean and fully equipped. I would recommend this house to others and will request this house myself the next time I return to Carolina Beach. Bryant Realty has always provided me with good customer service. Thanks for making the stays enjoyable!

We found the house in great order, it was clean and ready for our family. The house had an excellent front porch, lovely little market across the street, and a short walk to a very nice stretch of beach. We would stay here again and again. It was relaxing, but most of all fun for our family. We toured the Battleship, we enjoyed walks to the boardwalk, we had many fine restaurants to choose from.

We enjoyed our stay at Atlantis, everyone had fun.
Wish that the furniture would be replaced in the living room (the leather is peeling bad)and spray for ants (they got into our cake sitting on the stove island).
Great location, close to lake and the boardwalk.

Reality Company renting this house was awesome to work with. The best thing about this house was the location. Master bathroom shower could use some up dating.

Extremely disappointed in the upkeep of the outside of the property. The inside was somewhat better than the outside. Walkway pavers are overgrown with weeds. Some of the wooden deck boards are broken and a tripping hazard. A great deal of trash throughout the yard and construction materials thrown under the porch. Nearly the entire yard is overgrown with weeds. The property is advertised as pet friendly but the yard is so overgrown with weeds, thorns, and briars that your pet will not "use" it.

We rented this same property last summer, loved the location of the house on Carolina Beach. Steps away from the beach yet only blocks away from most attractions. The management staff was extremely helpful and very nice, which is one reason we stayed in the same place. The bathrooms were not as clean as I would have liked this year, but the overall cleanliness of the house was acceptable.

Wonderful experience with great location and beach access. Clean and well equipped home that is 'Pet Friendly'. Definitely would stay again with Bryant at this location. The AC went out while we were there but Bryant did everything possible to get AC in the house. The owner was willing to refund us an amount that was reasonable. Very enjoyable Beach Stay.
