We enjoyed our stay at Seagull's by the Sea, location was very convenient and the property for the most part was acceptable.

There were however several small things that could be improved upon, especially considering the price of the stay. For example kitchen cabinet doors falling off, outdoor chairs falling apart, minimal shelving in pantry to put food away, 1 dish towel for a 3 night stay, shower curtains 1⁄2 falling off....all in all felt a little shoddy.

I do not see where we were notified of the issues you found during your stay, however, I will make bring the cabinet doors and chairs to our maintenance departments' attention. We provide one kitchen towel set per guest stay, as stated in our contract you signed prior to arrival, but we apologize if you feel this is inadequate. Our family of 8 adults and two babies had a wonderful Christmas and New Years celebration here. There was ample space for us to hang out, each couple had their own bathroom and bedroom which was great, nice large well stocked kitchen and dog friendly was a bonus. We would definitely stay here again.

Property was good size for our family. Pet friendly was plus for our 2 dogs. Housekeeping did not do a great job cleaning the place before our arrival. But once we notified Bryant, they were quick to respond. Kitchen is very well stocked, which was great. Bathrooms are dated, and small master shower is very slick with no grab bar. Location is great, close to pier and the Loop walking trail. And of course no ocean view. Also pretty noisy in back when bar behind the unit empties trash during the night. Some of the furniture is broken or worn out, and should be replaced. Elevator was great for checking in and out. But otherwise we used the stairs. Pretty much the property is as described. Wish it had been cleaner upon check in. But Bryant was quick to respond once notified.

Our trip was nice. It’s been 3 years since we’ve been back to Wrightsville beach we’ve stay at various places due to availability. On this property rental I was disappointed figuring the price was higher my expectations were higher. Location was good. Here are the problems 2 tubs didn’t drain had to use the plunger and the shower curtain not good. Should be changed just like the towels. The dust under the beds was very thick hasn’t been done in awhile Was looking for sunglasses in the couch lifted the cushion Oh My! Very bad hasn’t been done in a while either. Furnishings were ok. The bikes well good luck getting them out also there were some rusted beach chairs in the storage need to be thrown out. Presentation means a lot especially when I’m putting out a lot of money. Where other places I put out less and got more! Go figure. The pictures for this property were deceiving looked bigger. I could nit pick on other things but I was blessed and happy to be on vacation. We work hard and enjoy nice things. Would I recommend this property not for the price. You’re really paying for the elevator.

Glad you decided to revisit Wrightsville Beach after a few years and we hope it was a wonderful time with your family! We are saddened to hear you did not enjoy the unit as much as you expected. Since this unit is quite large and upgraded with new furnishings, new floors, and new appliances it falls into a higher category. We have plenty of other homes in our program that are comparable that may be in your budget for next time. Thank you for allowing us to come by to fix the tub drains shortly after your phone call. These are unforeseen issues that we really can't catch before check in since we are not actively living in the unit/using the shower so we appreciate you reporting it promptly. Our housekeepers do not run the water in the tubs as they use cleaning chemicals and rags to scrub so it was easily missed. In the carport the owner provides a closet with bikes - any beach chairs or accessories are those that previous guests have left behind. I can recommend to the owner to provide new beach chairs but they are a terrible investment in rental homes since they walk off or break between guests week to week; we always suggest bringing your own if you plan to use them. The pandemic has thrown a huge wrench into the hospitality industry this year and we are experiencing extreme shortages in staffing and having to make do with what we can hire for. While we have our core housekeepers who have been with us for years, we are having to train new staff as well who we are working with to quickly train to clean with our high standards in mind. I will pass along these notes to the housekeeper and strive for improvement but please know if you ever have a cleanliness issue we can send another housekeeper out immediately. We'd love to make it up to you next time so please keep in touch for your next vacation. We look forward to finding your family the perfect beach home!

The space of this house was awesome. Upon arrival we had a mishap of pet fur all over the comforter and the mattress pad that was left on the beds (which makes me wonder if those are being cleaned in between each rental). I called the rental office and they came over with new packaged comforters and mattress pads. I suggest those being packaged just like the towels and linen. There was also pet fur on the stairs, on the furniture, and throughout the house. Our overall stay was wonderful, after we cleaned. We were able to take advantage of the bikes that were there. Although the cleanliness was an issue initially, we were able to still enjoy our trip.

The first two living floors provide bedrooms, the primary bedroom has 2 queen beds, the second bedroom offers a queen bed and a sleeper sofa. The third bedroom offers a queen bed and roll away twin sized beds are conveniently tucked away in the closets. These come in handy for larger groups or folks that require diverse sleeping arrangements. The fourth bedroom offers a queen bed and roll away bed. Each room is a suite with its own private bathroom. Linens, TV and Rokus are provided throughout the home.

This home isn’t just about providing a roof over your head though, the home is well stocked with games and bikes. You will find 6 well-kept bikes for outings, indoor and outdoor games such as bocce ball, large sized Jenga and many indoor board games.

When it’s time to hit the beach, take a stroll a mere half block down the road with no road crossings and set up shop on the beautiful Wrightsville beach strand.

Stay Requirements: Saturday to Saturday rental in summer. Minimum of two-night stay in other seasons.
Bedding Configuration: 5 Queens, 4 Twin roll away beds.
Parking: There are 4 parking spots at this unit, which are located in the carport.
Pet Policy: Dogs welcome as an optional add-on for this property with a non-refundable fee of $250 + tax that is charged per pet. Maximum of 2 dogs per reservation. Charge will be added after booking if not selected at checkout and added at a later time.

Cancellation Policy: Full refund within 24 hours of booking, cancellations at 31+ days before check-in will receive a full refund after a $350 cancellation fee is deducted, cancellations at 15-30 days before check-in will receive a 50% refund of monies paid less a $350 cancellation fee and less than 15 days prior to arrival is not subject to a refund.  All policies are subject to possible additional refund based on re-rental, excluding non-refundable cancellation fees and travel insurance (if applicable).
